House rules
These rules were created to ensure a fair & honest auction experience for all bidders.
Account policy
Each user may have or maintain control over only one account per person, no exceptions! Each household may only have or maintain control over a maximum of two accounts.
Big NO to all forms of team play
You are not allowed to bid in the same auction with your family members, friends, or acquaintances.
This type of collusion may give you an unfair advantage over other bidders and create the false illusion of bid activity.
Winning limits
To ensure equal chances for everyone to win you can win up to 6 items valued less than $200, and 3 items valued more than $200 per week. You can follow the status of your wins by logging in and looking at the winning limit slots right next to the bid amount. The system will not allow you to bid after you have reached your limit. All remaining BidBuddies will be automatically cancelled. Please plan your bidding strategy with this in mind.
Usernames
So that people do not become confused or upset your username may not be obscene or misleading ("DealDash admin", "Auction closed"..) or chosen with the clear purpose of imposing an existing user.
Commenting
When sharing comments or status updates in your BidderBio or on the DealDash Facebook timeline please be respectful at all times. The Bidder Bio is only for sharing information about yourself; such as hobbies, profession, interests and family. Do not post intimidating or misleading content, do not share the number of bids you have on your account or BidBuddy, do not post links, ads, contact information or direct messages to any specific user. Use of vulgar language, teasing, or abusive comments un-becoming of an adult will not be tolerated. Rule of thumb: if you're unsure or have to question if your comment is appropriate - don't post it! If someone has posted inappropriate content please contact us. DealDash may moderate or remove comments to help emphasize a positive environment.
We are humans
No bots of any kind are allowed when using the site.
Employees
DealDash employees and their family members (defined as parents, spouse, siblings and children) and any person residing in the same household as employees may not under any circumstances participate in DealDash auctions.
