Increase your Exchange Offers
Exchange offers on DealDash are determined by your exchange activity over the last eight weeks, including this week.
Exchange offers can only decrease if you've exchanged more than 100,000 bids during the tracking period
When is the final exchange offer determined?
The auction's maximum exchange offer is set when the auction begins. However, your personal exchange offer depends
on the number of bids you've purchased and the bids you've received from exchanges up until the moment you complete
the exchange.
What qualifies as purchased bids?
Bids obtained through the regular bid pack checkout are considered purchased bids. Additionally, if you use the Buy
It Now option on a bid pack auction, the denominated number of bids will also count as purchased. Similarly, if you
use the Buy It Now option on a gift card auction that includes bonus bids, those attached bids are also counted
toward your total purchased bids.
Why does the offer for an auction have a range?
The range is given in addition to your current exchange offer as the exchange offer can change depending on how
many bids you have bought or exchanged.
What can I do to get more bids?
To get a better offer, you can improve the ratio of bids bought by buying bids. Alternatively, you can keep your
exchanged bids under 100,000 bids in total during the tracking period.
I just purchased bids, and now my offers have decreased.
If you bought bids and initially received higher offers, but they later decreased after another exchange, it's
likely because you're right on the threshold between two offer categories.
My exchange offer for an auction changed.
Exchange offers are personalized rather than determined at the auction level. If your ratio of bids purchased to
bids exchanged changes after winning an auction, your offer may also be adjusted.
However, you can always increase your offer to match the auction-specific maximum exchange offer by purchasing more bids.
