Shopping and bidding on DealDash is perfect for Christmas toys. Here are some items for the upcoming holidays.

DealDash is here to help you with your Christmas shopping. Later on this month we will talk about some great things that you can win for the adults in your lives, but since Christmas is the favorite holiday of most children, here is a DealDash gift-giving guide for your favorite tiny people.

Playskool Sesame Street Play All Day Elmo

Kids age zero to about 8 love stuffed animals. DealDash has you covered if you are searching for the perfect stuffed animal for a child. They have the perfect stuffed animals for babies and toddlers – they are an animal head attached to a tiny blanket about the size of a washcloth. They are perfect for the baby to cuddle, they are easy to hold, and the baby can even chew on them when they are teething. For preschool age DealDash has the Elmo stuffed animal as shown in the picture above. Preschool kids love Elmo! And for older kids that are in elementary school, they have the Cuddle Pillows that are in the shape of their favorite TV characters. If you’re going to give a child a stuffed animal for Christmas this year, be sure to check DealDash first!

DealDash has begun to offer educational and craft toys made by ALEX for children. These educational and craft kits are fun, great for elementary school-aged children, and can even be a gift given to a family for the children to share among siblings. If you are a little short on cash and have multiple children in the same household to give a gift to this Christmas, an ALEX kit might be the way to go! You can save money by giving a single gift to a sibling group, they can enjoy it together, and their parents will be happy that there is only 1 extra toy in the house instead of multiple.

As with all auctions on DealDash, if you don’t happen to win these toys when you bid on them, then you can always BIN (Buy It Now) for the retail price, get all of your bids back to use again, get free shipping, AND get to keep of of the clock time that you earned as being the highest bidder.

If you would like to get either of these items for the upcoming Christmas season, just search for them on DealDash, then set an alert. Setting an alert is simple. Just search for your toy, click on the item, and look on the right side of the screen. There will be a blue button that says “Alert Me”. Click on the button, and when the item is coming up for auction DealDash will send you an email. It’s the only way to never miss out on an auction for a product that you really want.

screenshot-3

Shopping and bidding on DealDash is a time and money-saver. Here are some items for the chilly weather that’s coming…

DealDash is here for you no matter what the season. In the summer DealDash has pools and lawn mowers, in the spring gardening supplies, in the fall rakes and leaf blowers, and in the winter snowblowers and shovels. Now that it’s fall headed into winter, here are a collection of products that DealDash offers up for auction that can help with the chilly weather.

Faux fireplaces. Faux fireplaces are a multi-use product. They provide an electric heating source, light, and a classy decoration for your home. Most people enjoy sitting by a fireplace when the weather starts getting chilly, but not everyone is lucky enough to have a built in fireplace in their home. A faux fireplace is the perfect choice for an apartment, it provides a decorative piece of furniture with the added bonus of being able to take it with you when you move. DealDash has been offering faux fireplaces for a while now. They have a few different styles. Some look similar to a flat screen TV, others look like a potbellied stove, and some even look like a real fireplace that you can put things on it’s mantle. When the weather gets chilly, check out the faux fireplaces on DealDash.

Blankets. You probably don’t normally think about DealDash when you are shopping for a blanket,  but you should! A blanket is a perfect example of a product that you should always try to win on DealDash first instead of shopping at the store. If you are definitely planning on buying a blanket anyway, why not try to win it on DealDash? If you win, that’s great! If you don’t happen to win, then you can always BIN (Buy It Now) for the retail price, get all of your bids back to use again, get free shipping, AND get to keep of of the clock time that you earned as being the highest bidder. It’s really a no-brainer when you think about it!

If you would like to get either of these items for the chilly weather that’s on its way, just search for them on DealDash, then set an alert. Setting an alert is simple. Just search for your item, click on the item, and look on the right side of the screen. There will be a blue button that says “Alert Me”. Click on the button, and when the item is coming up for auction DealDash will send you an email. It’s the only way to never miss out on an auction for a product that you really want.

Deal Dash and You – A Winning Combination

DealDash and You

Shopping and bidding on Deal Dash is a wonderful hobby. I learn new things every time that I play. Here are a few handy tips that can help you win many auctions.

Winning DealDash auctions can be difficult or easy, but it’s never really very complicated. You just need to find your own winning formula and use it to help you win auctions. Here are some tips and tricks that I use in many auctions.

  • Don’t go bidding “willy-nilly.” Think of an item that you would like to try to win on DealDash. Do a little research on that item, see what price the item has gone for in previous auctions, and expect to pay around the same amount. When you have made an informed decision about what item that you would like to win, set an alert on that item so you will know when the item is coming up for auction. Setting an alert is easy. Simply search for your item, click on the item, and look on the right side of the screen. There will be a blue button that says “Alert Me”. Click on the button, and when the item is coming up for auction DealDash will send you an email. It’s a great way to never miss out on an auction for a product that you really want.
  • Check the “Winners” tab at the top of the screen after you have signed into DealDash. Some days it seems like people are winning absolutely amazing deals – now’s the time to bid! Other days it seems like everyone is over-bidding. Most days are in the middle between the two extremes, but it’s definitely helpful to know what sort of winning day that it is on DealDash.
  • Use your BidBuddy – Every.Single.Time. There is absolutely, 100% no reason that you shouldn’t use your BidBuddy. Don’t even think about bidding without your buddy by your side.
  • The same players usually bid the same way over and over. Once an over-bidder, always an over-bidder. Keep a list of the worst over-bidding offenders and don’t even bother to get into an auction with them unless you are planning on BINning (Buy It Now) the auction anyway, and just want to rack up a lot of “clock time” as the highest bidder. This strategy makes sense if DealDash is running one of their 3X or even 5X as the highest bidder promotions.

Download the DealDash app for winning on the go. You can get the app for both iOS and Android operating systems. After you have used the app, be sure to rate and review it! If you have any suggestions for the app you can always send DealDash customer service an email and they can forward it to the proper people for consideration.

What’s So Different About DealDash? Part 2

As we discussed on Wednesday, DealDash is very different from their competition in many different ways. Here are some more ways that DealDash is head and shoulders above the rest.

In case you missed Wednesday’s blog here were the main differences pointed out in that blog from the competition:

  • Customer Service -DealDash customer service is awesome!
  • BIN (Buy It Now) – BIN the items for a fair price and get all of your bids back!
  • New & Unique Brands – Try out new brands that you can’t find at your local stores!

Today I am going to tell you about a few more ways that DealDash differs from the other “penny sites” out there.

  • FREE shipping – DealDash offers FREE shipping on every single item, no matter how big or how small. I was really amazed when I found that out. Other sites offer free shipping on just gift cards, or small items and have excessive “handling charges” on other items. And some sites even charge to ship gift cards! Not only do they charge to ship them, they overcharge. To ship a single gift card with a receipt in an envelope should just be the cost of 1 stamp. However, some sites are charging upwards of $2 to ship a single gift card. However, at DealDash they have shipped me large pieces of furniture (a sewing armoire, bookshelves, exercise bike, rowing machine) for absolutely 100% free.
  • Fast shipping – Not only does DealDash ship out everyone’s items for free, they ship them fast. I admit it, I have bid on countless other auction sites before I found DealDash, and some places took so long to ship my items I had totally forgotten that I had won them once the items arrived. With DealDash, I have had a few items literally arrive the next day after I had paid for my auction. That’s rare, of course, but what’s not so rare (but still awesome!) is getting the item that you paid for within 3-5 days.
  • Opportunities to get free bids – Every single winner of a DealDash auction that has been paid for an received has a chance to get free bids by posting on social media web sites. If you have Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or Pinterest, you have chances to get free bids by taking photos of yourself with your winning item. Here are the instructions on how to do that, located at this link.

DealDash is wonderful site that blows the rest of the competition away. Give them a try! Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Using the Tactics & Tips to Help You Win on DealDash

Sometimes starting a new hobby can be hard. Why not use the free Tactics and Tips section that DealDash offers to help you win?

Hello fellow DealDashers! This blog is mainly aimed at the newbies, but some more seasoned DealDash players might even learn a thing or two. Can we all really say that we read all of the instructions when we started? Here’s a refresher course.

DealDash offers a Tactics & Tips section available here for anyone who would like to read the original text. In this blog I am going to go through all of the tips and try to give a little insight on how they can help you.

  • Tip 1 – Conserve your bids. Bidding rapidly will only waste your bids and inflate the auction price. Bid strategically, or book a BidBuddy to do it for you. It makes absolutely no sense to hit your bid button rapidly and without thought when you are in an auction. Most people have their bids booked through the BidBuddy anyway, so it’s very unlikely you will win this way.
  • Tip 2 – Book a BidBuddy. The majority of auctions on DealDash are won by using the BidBuddy. The BidBuddy strategically places bids for you. It waits until the last second to bid. You can put a limit on how many bids will be used. And you can cancel it at any time. Basically, you put the number of bids that you are willing to spend into your BidBuddy and it will bid for you against other people’s BidBuddies that have been set. They take turns with each other, and this way you don’t waste any bids by accidentally (or on purpose!) stomping on people’s bids.
  • Tip 3- Earn FREE bids. When you are the Highest Bidder, you will earn time towards your next level. When you reach a new level, you receive free bids. There is a meter at the bottom of your bidding screen that will show you how far you are from getting free bids. Once the meter is filled up you just click the “claim bids” button and they are automatically credited to your account and you can use them immediately.
  • Tip 4- Study the competition. Who else is bidding on the item? Watch and learn. Some people keep a notepad to track bidders and what type of bidding strategies they are using. I personally keep an Excel spreadsheet on bidders that I frequently run into on the particular auctions that I enjoy. If you find yourself bidding on the same genre of item often, such as video game systems, you will probably run into the same bidders pretty often. If you keep track of their names and at what auction price they stop bidding then you have a pretty good idea of how they might bid the next time you run into them.
  • Tip 5- Buy It Now (BIN) and get your bids back. If you do not win an auction, you can get your bids back, by taking advantage of the Buy It Now option. If you bid 100 times on a $50 Walmart Gift Card and don’t win, you can just buy the item for $50 and get all your bids back for free. You can now re-use your bids to try to win another auction! The bids are automatically credited to your account and you can use them immediately.
  • Tip 6- Check out the winners. The winners page reveals recently won items and the final auction prices. I love to look at the “Winner’s Page”. You can see the link to it up at the top of the DealDash screen. It shows all of the recently won auctions, who won them, where they are from, and what the final auction price was. I love to see who got an awesome deal like a video game for .10, and I also admit that I have to chuckle a little when I see someone WAY overpay such as “winning” a $25 gift card for $27. When you see someone overbid like that you know that either they weren’t paying attention or that their competitive “gotta win” attitude cost them money.
  • Tip 7- Try different times. Auctions might be easier to win at different times of the day. Auctions are only open to the US. I agree that this can sometimes be helpful, however in my experience it seems that the “ultimate prime time” to bid can vary from week to week. Study the auctions and see if you can find yourself a sweet spot to bid in.
  • Tip 8- Mind your budget. Try bidding on less-expensive, less-popular items. There will likely be less competition. If you stick with items that are $20 or less it’s easy to just BIN them (see tip 5) and get all of your bids back to try again.
  • Tip 9- Buy bids on sale. Make sure to visit DealDash regularly so you can keep up to date on promotions and save on bids! Bid prices change every single day, but generally fluctuate between .12-.18 per bid. If you go “Like” the DealDash Secrets page on Facebook here you can check back daily and it will tell you the price the bids will be the following day. And if that’s not an awesome tip I don’t know what is!

So my fellow DealDashers, those are just a few helpful tactics & tips for playing on DealDash. Remember to pay attention to the tips, check out the auctions and see what you would really like to bid on, and try your luck! See you on DealDash everyone! Good luck and happy bidding.
