That’s a Bingo!

It’s Monday morning, and that means it is time for a new bingo square. On each square is an activity – or challenge – for you to complete in order to receive your 200 free bids and fill in that bingo square. You have one week to complete a challenge from when it is posted. If you miss a square, don’t fret! New challenges are posted every two weeks so a new opportunity for free bids is just around the corner.

We couldn’t be happier to launch our very own customer loyalty program: The DealDash Royalty Program! A brand new way for us to reward YOU, our dear DealDash users, no matter how long you’ve been with us, or how many auctions you’ve won!

After extensive planning, our new loyalty program is finally up and running. Our Loyalty Program is a Royalty Program

The new DealDash Royalty Program is more than just a cute play on words. It’s a system designed to thank DealDash users for participating in auctions and reward them with great perks. And that’s on top of the great daily promotions and opportunities to save that we already offer! Because there’s nothing more important to us than the happiness and success of our customers.

As James puts it, “We are always looking for fun and exciting ways to go above and beyond for our customers. We want to show our community how much we care about their experience, not just in our words but more importantly in our actions. To us, our customers are more than just loyal, they are royal!”

We take customer relationships very seriously. And we have a long history of excellent customer experience initiatives. For instance, every employee at DealDash, from Data Engineers to the CEO, takes time to speak to at least one customer each week. That’s how we became one of the most trusted online auction sites anywhere on the internet.

Our Royalty Program is for Everyone

Every DealDash user is automatically eligible for the Royalty Program. And because we wanted to offer this opportunity to all of our customers, there is no registration needed to participate. As soon as you meet the required purchase criteria, we’ll start sending you the perks!

Titles and Perks of the Royalty Program

We have divided our Royalty Program into 3 tiers, each with their own title:

HERO (1st Tier)
NOBLE (2nd Tier)
MONARCH (3rd Tier)

These Titles are earned based on the number of bids that are purchased within a month. As you earn new Titles, your perks and rewards will increase. These perks will include access to exclusive auctions, personalized offers, daily rewards, and more. Users will keep their Title until the end of the following month, when new Titles are awarded based on the activity during that month.

Why we Launched the Royalty Program

The Royalty Program is the newest way for us to show our appreciation to our customers. Before launching the program, we ran a small-scale pilot test in the summer of 2021 to get a sense for how things should work. The pilot was a success, as over 80% of users who participated urged us to continue the program at full scale. We have always said that our customers are at the forefront of everything we do. And while the DealDash Royalty Program only just recently launched, we know that this is the best way to help our customers feel like the Royalty we already know them to be.

A New Way To Get The Best Auction Deals

What were you like twelve years ago? Where did you live? Can you still fit into the same size pants that you wore a decade ago? If those pants don’t fit, there’s no need to feel bad. As time marches forward, a number of things besides a love for French fries contribute to weight gain in adults. Odds are, some things have changed. After all, twelve years is a long time!

Twelve years ago, DealDash was the place to be for savvy shoppers who wanted to compete for the best auction deals for the brands they love, and that is still true today. However, some things have changed on DealDash over time. We have more brands than ever before, and thankfully the DealDash App and website have had a few makeovers over the years. Change is a constant here at DealDash as we are always looking to improve how bidders compete for the best auction deals. And with that in mind, we are proud to introduce your next favorite type of auction: No Re-entry Auctions.

Bid jumpers need not apply

You will recognize the *No re-entry auctions* from the knockout symbol.

No Re-entry auctions are a twist on how DealDash auctions work. The rules of these special auctions are simple:

Only BidBuddy bids are allowed
If you run out of bids after the “no jumper” limit, you are eliminated from the auction.
Adding bids to an active BidBuddy is allowed.

These rules mean that someone can not bid early and then sit back and be inactive while others are actively bidding. This strategy is known within the DealDash Community as bid jumping. It is a polarizing strategy to say the least. With No Re-entry Auctions, only those in it and participating from the very start can proceed.

In No Re-entry Auctions you need to be in it to win it! Only bidders with an active BidBuddy are allowed.

A chance to use a bidder’s best friend

The No Re-entry auctions do not allow manual bidding. This means that you need to use the BidBuddy to participate. While this may seem like a limitation, experienced bidders know that the BidBuddy is a great tool to help you win the best auction deals. Experienced DealDash bidder Theresa B. even wrote a guest blog post detailing how the BidBuddy helps her save time and money as she competes in the auctions.

Over the years we have perfected the BidBuddy to be as helpful as possible, and now many DealDashers consider it their best friend…at least as far as chasing the best auction deals goes. The BidBuddy only places bids for you when the clock is about to hit zero – the best time. If other bidders are placing “single” bids, the BidBuddy won’t waste any of your bids. It will only place a bid when the auction is about to get sold to someone else. And if you win the auction any remaining bids will be returned to you. It’s a great tool to use especially when you can’t be at your computer. It’s also the best way to stay in the auctions, and conserve your bids. Not All Auctions Are Created Equal

For the past decade, DealDash has offered special online auctions that stand out from many of the others . Millions of bidders have signed up and given DealDash a try, so it is no secret why DealDash and auctions go hand in hand for a lot of folks. But believe it or not, DealDash did not invent auctions. In fact, the origins of the modern day auctions we know and love can be traced back all the way to the Roman Empire! The word auction comes from the Latin word “auctum” which translates to “I increase”. The Romans would hold auctions for land, livestock and other valuables after a successful military campaign. Since then, there have been a lot of different types of auctions invented, with DealDash’s special online auctions being one of the best types of auctions around.

After all, DealDash has thousands of rave reviews, so we must be doing something right! And while many folks think that a DealDash auction is the best type of auction, let me tell you a little secret: not all DealDash auctions are created equal. There are different types of DealDash auctions that change how the bidding process works, and clever bidders know how to spot the difference. Can you? Keep to learn all you need to know about the different kinds of DealDash auctions.

Take the lead to win big in these auctions!

If you like to earn free bids, we have just the thing for you: Auction Leaderboards. These auctions work as normal, but with one special twist; a leaderboard has been added to the auction page! The leaderboard will display the name of the bidders who have collected the most TAHB (Time as Highest Bidder) in that auction.

Make sure you collect enough Time As Highest Bidder to enter the top 3 positions in the leaderboard. When the auction ends, the three bidders who have collected the most TAHB in that auction will earn additional bid rewards! Our Leaderboard Auctions are coming back later this month (April, 2021), so keep an eye out for them! We want to see you finish at the top of the leaderboard!

Celebrate 2nd place in these auctions!

They say that second place is just the first loser, but that is not the case in our special Runner-up Auctions! These special online auctions work like this: The auctions will still be the same. Each bid raises the price by $0.01. The auction clock restarts from 10 seconds every time someone bids, and if no new bids are placed before the clock runs out, then they current highest bidder is the winner.

Auction Runner-up Discount on DealDash is a great way to earn rewards for finishing 2nd! — *Now you can feel great about coming in second place!*

But here is where things change; when the promotion is active the auction runner-up will receive a special discount on the Buy It Now price. For example, let’s say you came in second place in an auction for a purse auction. After the auction ends, you will receive a discounted Buy It Now offer for 50% the original price. These awesome runner up auctions don’t take place every day, but they do happen a few times a month so keep your eyes open.

Get exactly what you want in these auctions!

Normally, the winner of a DealDash auction has the choice to receive the item they won, or trade their win back to bids. This newest type of special online auction actually takes away one of those choices! Yes, that’s right, I am talking about our No Exchange auctions!

The name is pretty self-explanatory. There will be no exchange to bids offer presented for the winner. This way, the field of bidders is limited to just the folks who want to win that specific item. And you do not need to be great at math to understand that fewer bidders means easier auction wins!

A New Face For The New Year

On DealDash, bidders love to show a bit of their personality in the auctions by choosing a funny or witty username, and of course selecting an avatar of their choice. The avatar is the photo that displays next to your username while you bid. DealDashers either select from a premade group of cartoon avatars, or they upload a photo of their own to use on the mobile apps.

Over the years, we have introduced exciting new items, promotions, and gameplay features to DealDash, but the avatars have stayed the same. We might have been overlooking them to work on other matters, but today we are proud to announce that we are not neglecting avatars anymore! In fact, we have 42 new avatars that are ready for you to begin using immediately!

A friendly face for any occasion

Putting your best face forward on DealDash is easy across all devices! On desktop, you can change your profile avatar from your Dashboard section. On Android, open the main app menu (three lines at the top left of the main screen), then tap your picture in the top left. On iOS, tap Dashboard → Settings, then your picture in the top left. Then all that’s left is deciding which new avatar is best for you!

With our new avatars, now you will have a face for every occasion, or auction!

From firemen to zombies, there is something for everyone! And if you really want to get in on the fun, take a guess at which one of the new avatars will be most popular!
