As someone who just had a baby, I am very grateful that DealDash has baby items and supplies. Let’s take a look at the different things available for auction.

There are many things that you are going to need to make a new baby feel comfortable, safe, and secure. One of the obvious things that a baby needs to feel comfortable is nice soft dry diapers. If you are going to be driving your new baby anywhere, or riding in anyone elses’ car you absolutely need an infant car seat. There are some car seats made for just infants, and there are “convertible” car seats that can go from infant to baby to big kid. It just depends what you prefer. Be sure that you are buying a NEW car seat, used car seats are just not safe, especially if they have ever been in any kind of car crash. Also, car seats have expiration dates on them that you really need to pay attention and heed the warning sticker. Since you are going to have to buy a new car seat anyway (seriously, don’t use a used one, especially one that you don’t know it’s history of accidents) you might as well try to win one on DealDash. Another great thing that DealDash offers parents is multiple types of play yard. Play yards are really very handy, they are great as a portable crib for travel, they can be used as a playpen when the parents are busy and the baby needs to be somewhere safe,  and even if you don’t have small kids they are very handy to keep around in case you get any overnight guests with small kids or babies. We actually have two play yards at our house, one upstairs and one downstairs, because I think that they are just indispensable when you have a baby. You can find play yards at this link here.

February Vacation With DealDash

 

 

Do you have school aged kids? If you do, you are either excited or dreading February vacation. If you are planning a trip, look to DealDash for some inspiration.

If you’re still reading, I assume that means that you have school aged children. In my county our February vacation is later on this month, the week of the 21st, which also coincidentally is my (and also my husband’s!) birthday. So we look forward to February vacation, since the kids are off of school for the week we always get to take a trip for our birthdays. Continuing to Look at Different Bidding Styles

 

 

If you’re just getting started at DealDash you might be puzzled at all of the different ways that people use to bid on items. This guide is a continuation of last week’s handy guide to different bidding styles.

If you’re used to classic auctions that have prices that raise by tens or even hundreds of dollars at a time you will quickly realize that DealDash is a LOT different. The price raises very slowly at the rate of 1 Penny per bid, and bidding is not as straightforward as you might think. Here are a few other ways that people bid:

The Hello/Goodbye: This particular bidder is very crafty and a little bit tricky. They usually check in at the beginning of the auction with a few bids, then stop bidding. You think that they’re gone, but suddenly they’re back again! This can go on and on for quite a while. It can get a little frustrating for the people who have been bidding consistently to not know if this bidder is going to pop up out of nowhere again, but hey, it’s a great strategy to throw people off of their bidding game.

The MUST Win At ANY price: This type of bidder has always puzzled me, and you see this type of bidder most frequently when DealDash is running one of their 3X or 5X clock time promotions. The MUST Win At ANY price bidder will clearly over bid…And keep on bidding.

Let me give you a great example. A little while back I was bidding on a $100 Toys R Us gift card. Pretty straightforward, right? I started bidding at the same time as another bidder, and we were both using our BidBuddies. As I was getting close to the BIN (Buy it Now) cost which of course is the simple formula of – price of bids X number of bids + final auction price – I figured that the other bidder had done the same calculations, and depending on what price they had purchased their bids would determine if she was going to win, I was going to win, or someone was going to jump in when both of us were out. Well, I hit the BIN cost, and shut off my BidBuddy. I had spent just about $100 in bids + final value, so I BINned the gift card, got my bids back, and wandered off to do something else. Imagine my surprise when I came back an hour or so later and this original bidder was STILL bidding! I couldn’t believe it, so I kept watching.

The bidding went on and on until she eventually “won.” However, I wouldn’t really consider it winning since she clearly spent more on bids + final value. I took note of her bidding name, and whenever I noticed that she was bidding I would watch, and this The MUST Win At ANY price bidder seemed to do the same thing at every auction. It makes no sense to me, but hey, that’s the great thing about DealDash – you can bid ANY way that you would like, it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone but yourself.

Shopping From Home While Having Fun on DealDash

Do you have fun shopping on DealDash? I know I do! Let’s compare DealDash shopping versus regular shopping.

Let’s imagine something for a moment: You are in the mood to do some shopping. So you get dressed, go out into the snow, drive to the mall, drive around the parking lot for 10 minutes looking for a spot, then walk and walk and walk. You come home exhausted! My situation is temporary, but for a lot of people such as the disabled, the elderly, or people that simply don’t drive DealDash is an awesome way to shop and have fun!

Getting a Little Help From DealDash Customer Support

DealDash customer support is always ready to help you quickly and with a (virtual) smile.

Raise your hand if you have ever used DealDash’s customer support! I know I have! You can contact DealDash’s customer support anytime you have any sort of question, comment, or problem. There are a few ways that you can contact support. You can send them an email through the DealDash website, but they also have a live online support button as well. You might think to yourself “I don’t need any help!” Well, there are a few different reasons that you might like to speak to DealDash’s customer support, here are a few common reasons:

  • You might want to inquire where your package is
  • You’re new and need a little help understanding the site
  • You would like to know how to connect with DealDash on Facebook
  • You would like to report someone for fraudulent bidding (i.e. Team Bidding)
  • You might have a general question about buying bids or paying for your won auctions

I myself have contacted DealDash for quite a few reasons – last Christmas I won 3 DVDs, and for some reason they were showing delivered…To a different state! I contacted DealDash’s customer support and after looking up the tracking numbers they immediately dispatched me out 3 more of the DVDs to my address, and I received them within days. There was no argument or attitude or anything else that you might have experienced with other company’s customer support, just a friendly person on the other end who was happy to help me.
