Getting Started on DealDash is Fun!

Image result for getting startedBeing a new bidder on DealDash can feel a little intimidating at first. There are so many acronyms, bidders, and items it can feel a little overwhelming at first.

First things first – welcome to DealDash! DealDash is an awesome shopping entertainment website that is not only fun, but a great way to get deals for yourself and your family. Getting started is easy, but figuring out how the website works can take a little getting used to, including some “watching and learning” as you go. Here are some quick tips to get you up and running.

  • Buy bids. Buying bids is easy, you can pay with a credit card or even with Paypal. The bid packs are available in different sizes. Right now they have packs of 60, 300, 600, 1200, and 2400. The price of the bids changes daily, it’s a good practice to check the price of the bids every morning so you can keep it in mind for your budget.  You may think that you have time to buy bids during an auction, but you just never know. Be prepared, be stocked up on bids!
  • Be sure to go to your profile and pick out an avatar, or upload your own. You can choose almost anything you like as your avatar, but please remember that Uploaded images are subject to approval and may not be immediately visible on the site. In my experience it usually takes a few hours (and sometimes longer) for your picture to be approved. Also please note that the file format must be JPG and not bigger than 3MB. Your uploaded image will be resized to 46 x 58 pixels. If you are so inclined you might want to resize your image yourself before you upload it, so you can be sure that it doesn’t get stretched out or pixelated when it’s uploaded.
  • Learn how to BIN (Buy It Now) if you don’t win the auction. When you BIN an auction you simply pay the retail price that is listed on each and every auction right above the picture of the auction. If you find yourself paying as much in bids as the item costs, it’s smart to drop out of the auction and BIN the item. You will get the item, free (fast!) shipping, and all of your bids back to use on another auction. Your bids are credited back once you have paid for the item, so you can re-use them as soon as you like, or save them for another day.

These are just a few tips to help get you thinking about getting started on DealDash! I hope that this article has been helpful for you. Go check out the site and enjoy being a newbie. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Leave Your Fears Behind when Bidding

For the Newbie at Deal Dash, bidding can be a daunting and yet exciting experience.  If you are afraid to bid, your day has come.  There is nothing to be afraid of.  We are all “in it to win it” as many use for their profile comment, and who knows who will win? No one!

If we had a crystal ball we’d know exactly when the auction will end, but they don’t exist, and knowing when an auction will end doesn’t exist either.  It takes some time bidding, but you will eventually get a “sense” for when the auction will end, but but even that can be disrupted by human intervention! For example a player who enters an auction late in the game.

Knowing the competition does help, but you can only learn that by bidding, so take a deep breath and place your bids in the Bid Buddy and get bidding.  There is nothing to be afraid of.  I remember the “fear”, I guess it was more like “the fear of losing”, but honestly, you lose way more than you win, if you don’t you are overbidding to do it.  Because part of the fear is of losing,  you have to let that fear go and understand you will lose some.  Once you do “learn to lose”, there is great relief and the fear evaporates.

Overbidding is just a waste of bids and time.  There will be times when jumping out of an auction makes more sense than staying in.  You will develop a skill for that, you’ll lose a few, but you walked away with your dignity….and your bids.

The best time to buy bids is when they are on sale, so watch the blogs and the Deal Dash Facebook page, you’ll find out when the sales are coming and if there is a Bid Multiplier. Bid Multipliers increase the amount of free bids Deal Dash gives us every day.  This exponential time as highest bidder is a great way to go for a larger item that you’ve been wanting.  That bike or drone is in your reach and you should not fear it! Bid knowing you will get the reward, and use the reward to enhance the winning possibility.

One of the greatest things about Deal Dash is the pace of bidding, because they offer the Bid Buddy, a system of automatic bidding, we don’t have to bid fast and furious stomping and stomping like some do at other sites.    Deal Dash is a shopping experience with great deals for all players, you don’t have to be mean to win, they encourage a laid back approach.

The best thing to do to overcome fear of bidding is having bids, so 1. get your bids on sale, 2. use your Bid Buddy and 3. compound your reward bids during a multiplier to go for that large item.  You’ve got this!

Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!!

BIN to WIN on DealDash

Image result for BIN dealdashBeing a great bidder on DealDash is easy, it just takes a little time, knowledge, and willingness to BIN!

When you think about bidding on DealDash, what are the most important things on the website? The products? Sure, those are great, but the real gems on DealDash are the bidders! DealDash loves all of it’s bidders, and wants to give you some tips on how to be an awesome bidder and win more auctions.

The first thing you need to do is be sure that you have enough bids to work with. To be a great bidder you need to have lots of bids in the bank so that you can be sure that you have enough to bid until you reach the BIN (Buy It Now) price. If you have enough bidding power to BIN, then you can bid confidently, and that will shine through, and people will begin to recognize your name as someone who’s willing to “go all the way” in an auction. It’s a great thing to be known as a bidder who will bid until the BIN price, because if someone recognizes your name and isn’t willing to bid until BIN price, they will usually drop out of the auction.

Another way to be an awesome bidder is to use your BidBuddy. The BidBuddy is a great auction tool that DealDash provides to all of the bidders to use for free. It just isn’t feasible to bid one-by-one if you are participating in an auction that is likely to last for hours or even days. And as we discussed before, it’s important to be willing to BIN each auction that you are in, so if you don’t win you can always pay the retail price and get all of your bids back.

Personally, I only bid on auctions that I am willing to BIN, that way I am not losing any money if I lose the auction. I love the BIN feature on DealDash, because it’s like an insurance policy for your bids.

I hope that you have found this article helpful in learning some useful information about DealDash. Now use your newly acquired information and go check out the auctions! See you on DealDash everyone! Good luck and happy bidding.

Following the Crowd on DealDash

There are times in life that you want to stand out, and there are times that you want to follow the crowd. Here are a few examples of both.

On DealDash there are many different strategies and bidding styles that can be implemented, some are tried and true ideas, and others are new and different. There are times that you should follow the crowd, and other times that you should branch out on your own. What’s your bidding strategy today?

A great example of a tried and true bidding strategy is setting a BidBuddy. BidBuddy does all of the work for you once you have loaded him up with bids. It’s an effortless way to be able to bid on an auction while you are doing something else. This is a great tried and true strategy because most of the serious bidders on DealDash bid exclusively with the BidBuddy instead of placing single bids.

Another example of following the trends when bidding is to use the DealDash app. More people than ever are now using the DealDash app to bid while they are on the go.

Here are the quick steps to get the DealDash app ready to use. It’s very simple, and you will be winning more auctions in no time!

  • Download the app

Here is the Android version on Google Play – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dealdash&hl=en

Here is the iOS version in the App store –https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dealdash/id965782383?mt=8

  • Install the app
  • Sign in with your DealDash account, or if you don’t have a DealDash account you can make one
  • Buy bids, bid on auctions, set BidBuddies
  • Rate the DealDash app 5 Stars in the Google Play store or the App store

An example of a less popular bidding strategy is to be a Stomper. A Stomper is a person who bids immediately after another person bids, therefore cheating them out of their “clock time” as the highest bidder. This is a valid strategy that’s usually built on intimidation, but it isn’t usually a good one due to it making the other bidders angry. However, if you are the type of person who likes to “go against the grain”, then feel free to try this strategy out.

I hope that this article has gotten you thinking about some different ways to bid. There is truly no wrong way to bid, there are just some methods that are more popular than others. Go check out the auctions and try out your favorite strategy. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!
