How to Navigate & Win When 50 (or More!) Auctions Start at the Same Time on DealDash

It’s one of the most exciting promotions DealDash offers—those times when they offer 50, 75 or more auctions that start at the same time! When I first started bidding, I avoided these times at all costs. It was overwhelming and intimidating to me—but no more! Below are a few helpful tips to help you navigate the waters of this truly amazing promotion and get the win!

Preview Items in Advance & Set Bookmarks

Check out the items up for auction. Make note of any items you really want to win and focus on those. Use the bookmarking feature to make sure you have those items at the top of your page—front and center—and don’t miss those auctions!

Don’t Be Put Off by the Number of Bidders

The competition is high during these promotions—or at least it might seem that way. Many bidders want to get in on the action and take a chance on winning something for a few bids. Therefore, they place one to a handful of bids to make sure they get in on an auction early in case it goes over the $5 cutoff. Patience is key. Do not be intimidated by the increased number of bidders that sometimes happens during these types of promotions.

Be Aware of Unique Items Being Offered

During these promotions you will sometimes see unique items that do not appear in the regular DealDash rotation. This may include an item you always wanted to win but don’t see much anymore, so now could be your time! Make note of these seldom-offered items if they are something you’d like to bid on. Competition on these types of items could be high or low. If you’ve got the bids, take the chance!

As Always, Use Bid Buddy

Bid Buddy on DealDash is truly a bidder’s best friend. And there’s simply no easier way to stay in the game during a promotion when multiple auctions start at the same time. If you’re getting in on multiple auctions at the same time, I’d recommending adding a few extra bids to each auction for a cushion.

Check on Your Auctions as they Happen…or Not!

I’m an auction watcher. If I can’t dedicate the time to watch my auctions as they are happening, I rarely bid. But that’s just me. I like to have the option of backing out of an auction in the moment but there are some who are more comfortable setting their bids and walking away. Checking on auctions later allows you the great surprise of a win and the peace of mind that you’re not stressing over your bids in the moment.

Here’s hoping these tips for navigating the Multiple Auctions Starting at the Same Time promotions help you to win something great!  Happy bidding!
