Switching Up Your DealDash Strategy

Do you always bid the same way on DealDash? What’s been working for you in the past might not work in the future. Switch it up!

Are you only sporadic bidder who doesn’t visit DealDash very often? If you are the sort of bidder to pick a few random auctions and put in 10 bids here, 10 bids there, jumping around from auction to auction without any sort of cohesive plan then perhaps you should change up your strategy. Take your time, do a little research. Don’t be impulsive, be mindful of where your bids are going. It can only help you if you try a different strategy instead of throwing a few bids here and there. It’s very difficult to win that way.

On the other extreme, do you go decide what you want to bid on days or weeks before you even sign into DealDash? Do you make a plan beforehand then go through all of the different options on DealDash and patiently wait for your optimal auction to begin? Maybe you should switch up your strategy a bit and bid on something that you have admired in the past but haven’t yet done the research that you would normally perform before bidding. If other bidders know you as more cautious and less impulsive it might throw them off of their game and leave you victorious. Give it a chance!

Are you determined to win at all costs, no matter if you go over the BIN (Buy It Now) price? If you are the sort of bidder who jumps headfirst into every auction no matter who is bidding or how many people are in the auction then maybe it’s time to switch up your style. Typically unless you are a well-known power bidder that people are scared of, then this strategy wastes money and bids in my opinion. It’s much smarter to put bids into your BidBuddy and then check back on the auction occasionally, so how about giving a more gentle and less headstrong approach a chance next time.

What strategy do you use? Try a new strategy next time and see what happens. Remember, if your new strategy doesn’t work out for you you can always just BIN  the auction for retail price and get all of your bids back to try a different strategy next time. Now go check out the auctions and see what you would really like to bid on. See you on DealDash everyone! Good luck and happy bidding.

Getting to Know Your Friend BidBuddy

BidBuddy is your new best friend and your ultimate tool to help you win auctions at DealDash. Let’s get to know him better.

Most people know the basic function of the BidBuddy – you put in the maximum amount of bids that you are willing to spend on a particular auction and the BidBuddy will tirelessly bid until the bids have all been used or you cancel the BidBuddy. However, the BidBuddy can also help you learn more about the auction and it’s bidders that you are currently competing against.

If you are new to DealDash you might mistakenly think that the bidders you are competing against are watching the auction just as closely as you are, however in my experience about 95% of auctions are not won with 1-click bids but by using the BidBuddy.

The key to figuring out who is using a BidBuddy and who is single bidding is easy. Simply look for the pattern. If Bidders A, B, and C are consistently bidding in that order 9 seconds apart then Bidders A, B, and C are using the BidBuddy. If bidders D and E are bidding at random intervals other than 9 seconds apart and not following the A, B, C, D, and E pattern then they are using single bids.

Knowing who is using the BidBuddy and who is placing single bids can be a great thing to know – you know that A, B, and C will bid tirelessly and effortlessly until their bids have been exhausted, where Bidders D and E are more likely to give up, lose focus, or just accidentally click the “Bid” button too slowly and lose the auction.

Remember, you can load up the BidBuddy with as many bids as you like, and stop or start him at any time. I personally exclusively bid using the BidBuddy – I remember losing a few auctions way back when I started with DealDash by bidding just a second too slow and losing the auction, and I vowed never to do that again.

Bidding at DealDash is never a waste, though, because you can always buy the item at retail price and get all of your bids back with the BIN (But It Now) feature.

I hope that this article has helped you get to know your best buddy the BidBuddy a little bit better. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Coffee Talk With DealDash

Almost everyone I know (with the exception of a few odd ones!) loves coffee. Some people like hot, some like iced, and some don’t care as long as it’s in their cup.

There are lots of different ways to get coffee – the busiest of the busy people just go ahead and buy it from the coffee shop, but most people like to make their coffee at home to save money and the hassle of going out to the coffee shop. Luckily for us, DealDash has a huge array of different ways for us to get our java fix. Let’s start with the Keurig machine.

Keurig

Most people have used a Keurig at some point in time, but in case you’re not familiar with the Keurig, the K-Cup is a plastic container with a paper filter inside. Ground coffee beans, tea leaves, or other flavor mixes are packed in the K-Cup and sealed with an air-tight lid. This keeps the coffee grounds fresher for much longer than traditional bags. When the K-Cup is placed in a Keurig brewer, the brewer punctures both the foil lid and the bottom of the K-Cup with a sharp implement, and forces hot water under pressure through the K-Cup and into your mug of choice. Yummm. Smell that fresh brewed coffee. If you haven’t gotten around to getting yourself a Keurig yet, DealDash offers Keurig machines as well as the K-Cups to go with them. Check them out on DealDash now.

If brewing huge pots of coffee for yourself and your family is more your style, then you’re in luck. DealDash also offers the two most popular brands of drip coffee makers, Mr. Coffee and Hamilton Beach. This type of coffee maker has been around for over 100 years, but of course it’s designs has changed quite a bit over the years. If you’re looking for a drip style coffee maker, just click on over to DealDash and take your choice of the many options that they have offered.

If you already have a coffee maker, be it a Keurig or drip style, DealDash has you covered on accessories such as coffee grinders, milk and sugar sets, and even bags of coffee and K-Cups! Just check out this link here and it will take you to all of the coffee related products that you have to choose from.

Remember, if you don’t happen to win the item, you can always BIN (Buy It Now) for the retail price, get all of your bids back, and get the item shipped to you with free shipping every time. Coffee and coffee related accessories would be a great item to “go all the way” to BIN price on, because it’s most likely an item that you would be buying anyway, regardless of if you were bidding on DealDash or not. Good luck and happy bidding, everyone!

More Suggestions on How To Conserve Your Bids

We’ve talked about conserving bids before, but here are some other ideas that can hopefully help you save bids and money.

Well, there are a few different ways to try and conserve your bids for another day, and I will try to teach you about some of the easiest ways to save your bids for later.

One of the best ways to conserve your bids is to use the BidBuddy! When I very first started using DealDash a few years ago I was so confused by the Bid Buddy. At first, I thought that the BidBuddy was some kind of trick or bid waster, but really, that thinking was all wrong. The Bid Buddy is the BEST way to save bids, because when you are putting in single bids it’s very easy to lose track of the order that people are bidding in, and therefore wasting a bid by bidding too early.

The BidBuddy is a wonderful tool that DealDash provides to every single bidder, free of charge, to help them win more auctions. We all know that the majority of auctions on DealDash are won by using the BidBuddy. The BidBuddy waits until the last second to bid. You can put in as few or as many bids as you like into the BidBuddy, and it will tirelessly bid for you until your bids have run out. The BidBuddy is an awesome tool to use to conserve bids, especially if you are bidding on an auction that seems like it’s going to last late into the night, long after you have gone to bed.

We’ve talked about this before, but I feel that being willing to BIN (Buy It Now) is such an important way to conserve bids that we need to talk about it again. If conserving bids is important to you and your family, then you should probably only bid on things that you need and can use in everyday life instead of “taking a chance” on something that’s completely out of your price range if you don’t win. If you want to conserve bids, practice your DealDash math so you know when to stop bidding to break even with your bids + final auction cost, then stop bidding! After you do your math calculations and realize that you have reached the BIN price, use the “Buy it Now” option and pay retail price for the item. DealDash will when refund all of the bids you used on that item, and you can try again another day.

I hope that these simple tricks help you to save your bids and get the most out of your bid pack purchases. Pay attention to what you’re doing, check out the auctions and see what you would really like to bid on, and try my tips to save bids. See you on DealDash everyone! Good luck and happy bidding.

Black Friday Letdown? Not on DealDash!

How did you spend your Black Friday? Well, if you’re a hardcore shopper like myself you spent it fighting over cheap products!

Quite honestly, Black Friday shopping is usually a little bit of a letdown. I have a lot of fun looking through all of the sale papers and carefully crafting my strategy of which stores to go to, in what order, and what exactly I’m getting. It’s a lot of work, and in the end I wait in the cold New England weather, endure the pushes and shoves of my fellow shoppers, and spend a ton of money on stuff that I don’t really even need.

I probably should have saved my time, money, and effort and just shopped on DealDash! Just thinking back, what did I buy on Black Friday? Well, for starters, I got this lovely new Chromebook on which I am currently writing this blog. It was one of the “Doorbusters” at a large electronics store, so I had to get there early. They actually opened on Thanksgiving evening, so I ended up shoveling down the turkey and pie, cutting the family time short, and getting in line in the chilly Connecticut weather. How much did I really save? Was it worth missing out on the family time? Not really. I should have just gotten my Chromebook on DealDash. They have a good selection, and as always, if you don’t end up winning you can always BIN (Buy It Now) and get every single one of your bids back.

What else did I shop for on Black Friday? Well, as the proud owner of 2 (almost 3!) kids of course I got some great Christmas presents for them at some of the popular “big box” stores. Now let me tell you, those places are CRAZY on Black Friday. If you are interested in some of the more popular deals of the year there is snatching, grabbing, pushing, and those are just the more polite shoppers! I feel a little silly getting into that crowd when I could have just done my shopping on DealDash. They have the exact same toys, games, and sports equipment that I bought at the big box retailers, I could have stayed home and relaxed, and I might have even gotten an awesomely amazing deal.
