DealDash Bidding as a Family

Bidding on DealDash can be a wonderful family activity. DealDash is available 24/7 for your entertainment.

If you think of DealDash as a solo activity, why not try sharing your bidding experience with your family? It can be very fun to pick out things to bid on together as a family. If you have kids that are trying to learn how to do math, how about getting them to help you in deciding how many bids you should place to reach the BIN (Buy It Now) price? If there is a birthday coming up in your family it could be very fun and exciting to have your kids help you pick out a present on DealDash, and then bid on it together.
Other than picking out presents for people, there are a few categories on DealDash that would definitely be of interest to other family members. I’ll go through the categories below that I feel might interest certain family members.

Fashion, Health, and Beauty – This category is great for mom, grandma, your wife, aunt, or even daughter. There are so many awesome things in this section, it’s one of my favorites. There are hair accessories and products, massagers, purses, and even jewelry and watches. If you would like to share the Fashion, Health, and Beauty category with the lady in your life, just click here.
Electronics and Computers – Most husbands, uncles, brothers, and dads would probably be interested in the Electronics and Computers category. There are always computers and tablets in this this section, however there are also a lot of other exciting and unique things to find in this category. For instance, this is where you can find bluetooth speakers. That would be a really fun thing to bid on. In this category you can also find cameras and camera accessories, phones, phone chargers, and phone cases, and let’s not forget video game systems and the games to go with them! Checking Out DealDash’s Home, Garden, and Tools Section

DealDash’s Home, Garden, and Tools Section is very popular with bidders. Let’s explore what’s inside.

When you think of the Home, Garden, and Tools category what is the first thing that comes to mind? For me, the first thing that comes to mind is gardening, especially in the summer. DealDash has a lot of great gardening supplies such as raised garden beds, small gardening hand tools such as spades and larger gardening tools such as shovels and rakes. DealDash also has pop-up greenhouses, hoses, and so many other wonderful things that you can use to make your garden and yard beautiful.

The next part of the Home, Garden, and Tools category that we will explore is the tool section. DealDash has an excellent selection of tools, from the smallest humble flashlight all the way up to professional rolling tool storage carts. Of course, there are many more things that are somewhere in the middle, such as rechargeable drill sets, household tool sets with everything you need for small projects, and even some real tools that you can get your kids to show them how to use and respect tools. I have gotten a few tools from DealDash, and they have come in very useful around the house.

The last part of the Home, Garden, and Tools category is home. Home encompasses so many different products on DealDash it would be hard to list every one. I will try to provide a brief overview of what you can look forward to seeing regarding products for your home. To start off with, this year DealDash has partnered with some amazing and interesting new high-end companies, and there is a ton of new things to explore in the home section. There are works of art such as oil paintings, different sculptures, furniture that’s beautiful as well as useful, and other unique luxurious items. When we are exploring the home section we are not just talking about high-end decorative items, regular everyday household items such as vacuum cleaners, sheet sets, and candles are included as well.

The Home, Garden, and Tools category is an excellent section to look through when you are trying to think of a housewarming present, wedding present, or just something special to give a friend. I can guarantee you they won’t be able to find some of these items at their local stores!

I hope this article has you intrigued enough to go check out the Home, Garden, and Tools category on DealDash. You can check it out at this link right here. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Looking at the Fashion, Health, & Beauty DealDash Category

DealDash

You might be surprised at what is in the Fashion, Health, and Beauty section. Let’s see what we can find.

The Fashion, Health, and Beauty category has always been one of my favorites! Let’s break it down into each section. The items are each very different but all follow the common theme of either fashion, health, or beauty.
Fashion – While it’s fairly rare that DealDash has a lot of clothing up for auction, there is occasionally a piece of clothing for your wardrobe. My theory of why DealDash rarely has clothing up for auction is because everyone is a different size, and there would be no way to select your size after winning. Also, a size medium in one brand can be a vastly different size of a medium in a different brand. When we are speaking of fashion on DealDash we are mostly talking about jewelry, watches, purses, hats, and backpacks.
Health – Health items on DealDash tend to be of the pampering kind, such as foot massagers, Back massagers, and even extremely fancy “dream” massage chairs. As in, it’s only a dream for most people to own one. The health part of the Fashion, Health, and Beauty category includes some practical health items as well such as blood pressure monitors, electronic toothbrushes, digital thermometers, and even fitness trackers.
Beauty – The beauty in the Fashion, Health, and Beauty category includes such things as perfume, hair dryers, flat iron hair straighteners, make up brushes, and more. These are my personal favorite items on the entire DealDash site, because I normally don’t treat myself to things just for me, but when I win one of these great beauty items I am very happy to receive it.
So there it is, a quick overview of my favorite section, the Fashion, Health, and Beauty category. Judging from the competition in the the Fashion, Health, and Beauty category a lot of people enjoy this section on DealDash. If you would like to check out the the Fashion, Health, and Beauty category for yourself, just click this link right here.
I hope that this article has peaked your interest in exploring the different categories at DealDash. Go check them out! Good luck and happy bidding everyone.

Let’s Look at the DealDash Categories

You might be surprised at what is hiding in the different DealDash categories. Let’s take a peek.

Bid Packs – Okay, there really is no hidden mystery about bid packs! They come in standard sized packs of 25, 40, 60, 80, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 800, 1000, 1500, 3000, and sometimes 5000.
Electronics and Computers – Computers and tablets rule this section, however there are also a lot of other awesome and surprising things to find here in this category. For instance, this is where you can find full sized keyboards! That would be a really fun thing to bid on. In this section is also where you can find cameras and camera accessories, phones, phone chargers, and phone cases, and let’s not forget video game systems and the games to go with them!
Fashion, Health, and Beauty – This particular category has always been one of my favorites! It’s actually gotten a major makeover recently, and not instead of just having the standard things that you might expect such as hair dryers, flat iron hair straighteners, and other “girly” type stuff now Fashion, Health and Beauty boasts some impressive massage chairs, foot massagers, jewelry, and designer bags. Those massage chairs are amazing, I have demoed similar ones in the store, and they practically had to kick me out for overstaying my welcome.
Gift Cards – Again, no real surprises in the Gift Card section. However, there are a lot of really useful and fun gift cards here. There are gift cards for the kids such as Toys R Us, gift cards for Mom and Grandma such as Bath and Body Works, gift cards for Dad and Grandpa such as Bass Pro Shops, and gift cards that the whole family can enjoy such as Target, Wal*Mart, CVS, and many more.
Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games – This section is another favorite of mine. I have gotten my kids so many fun things from this section. Here is where you will find classic favorites such as bikes, grills, luggage, baby items, and Lego – but you will also find new and interesting things such as the new wheeled “hoverboards” that are so popular right now.
Home, Garden, and Tools – This is another section that has gotten a major makeover recently. It used to offer mostly daily use items such as garden hoses, tool sets, and vacuum cleaners – but now it offers those items as well as high end designer furniture and accessories. If you haven’t been to the Home, Garden, and Tools section recently, go check it out.
Kitchen and Dining – I have gotten almost all of my kitchen items here, from my pots and pans to my bamboo spoon set. This is a great section to replace anything that you need in your kitchen, from the more expensive things like stand mixers, to the cheaper things like dish drainers. You might even want to treat yourself to a fancy knife set, because this section offers that, too!
I hope that this article has peaked your interest in exploring the different categories at DealDash. Go check them out! Good luck and happy bidding everyone.

Surviving the Holidays With Help from DealDash

As fun as the holidays are, some people just can’t get into the spirit. Here are some tips to help get through the next few weeks.

No matter what the reason, be it Seasonal Effective Disorder, baby blues, or just a dislike of the holidays in general you have a right to your feelings, and you’re going to need to find ways to keep yourself busy during the next few weeks. Here are some ideas to start off your thought process.

How about learning a new skill, such as cooking a specific meal or food item? Everyone else is baking Christmas cookies or planning on roasting a turkey, but how about you learn how to make home made pasta? It’s much more delicious than store bought pasta, and you can make it as healthy (or not!) as you choose. If you have a Kitchenaid stand mixer you can make pasta really quickly and easily. Here is a simple recipe you can follow:

Ingredients:

    • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose unbleached flour, sifted (plus extra flour for preparing)
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tablespoons water

KitchenAid Artisan Series 5-Quart Mixer, Cobalt BlueKitchenAid Pasta Roller Attachment

Directions:

  • Place eggs, water, flour and salt in mixer bowl. Attached bowl and flat beater. Turn to speed 2 and mix for 30 to 60 seconds. Add more water if the dough is too dry, in 1/2 Tablespoon increments.
  • Change out the flat beater for the dough hook. Turn to speed 2 and knead for 2 minutes. Remove the dough and knead by hand for 2 minutes. Let it rest for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Cut dough into four pieces before processing with pasta sheet attachment. Take one piece and flatten into a rectangular shape. Adding flour to both sides. Be sure to cover the other pieces. Attach the pasta sheet roller to your stand mixer and set it to #1. Turn on the stand mixer to speed 2 and run the pasta dough through the pasta sheet roller. While on #1, fold the dough in half and run it through again. Do this several times.
  • Adding a little bit of flour on each side of the dough again, change setting to #2 and pass the pasta dough through the sheet roller. Do this twice and then twice each on #3 and then #4. If you want thicker dough, don’t do the #4 setting.
  • Once again, add flour to each side of your long pasta sheet. Change the attachment to your spaghetti or fettuccine cutter and turn on to speed 2. Run the pasta sheet through and with your left hand, hold on to the pasta as it comes through the cutter. Allow pasta to dry for a few minutes before boiling.
  • When boiling your pasta, it only needs 3 to 7 minutes to boil.

You can get a Kitchenaid mixer and all of it’s various attachments on DealDash. Just click this link here and it will take you to the auctions. If pasta making sounds fun but maybe a little too ambitious check out DealDash’s Kitchen & Appliances section and perhaps you can find a fun new kitchen gadget that’s more your speed.

If cooking really isn’t your thing, how about using your extra time off from work (assuming you get holiday time off!) and do some of those extra projects around the house that you have been putting off for a while now? I can think of a few projects off the top of my head that need doing around my house, and I bet you can, too. If you’re really not much of a handy sort, how about getting a basic tool set from DealDash? You could get something like the Essentials 34 piece tool kit and have just about everything you need for a small project. You can find that auction, and other tool kit auctions at this link here.

If you’re more advanced in your handiness you could pick up something a little trickier to use such as a rotary tool set or even a hammer drill. Check out the Home, Garden, & Tools section here on DealDash and see what you can discover.

Of course, there’s nothing more fun than sitting down at your computer and just browsing all of the different areas on DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!
