5 Reason Why DealDash Shopping is FUN!

We’ve received questions from people asking.. What makes DealDash more fun than other online auction sites?

This is a great question so we decided to answer it with a few things our customers have mentioned to us over and over again about what they love most about DealDash and what makes it fun to them!

1. Cheapest Bids Available Out of All Online Auction Sites

People love to play on DealDash therefore instead of having you pay $100 for 166 bids like you would on another auction site, you can get over 700 bids for the same price! Yesterday bids cost 14¢ per bid and today they are 15¢ per bid. DealDash shoppers have come to love the cheap bid prices because it allows them to play more!

2. Buy it Now and Get Your Bids Back

The Buy it Now option is a wonderful and DealDashers have come to love this feature! Whenever you don’t win an auction, you can buy it for a fair market price to get the desired item which ships free of charge and we’ll even give you back all the bids you used trying to win it! The Buy it Now makes shopping on DealDash easy and is one of the most recommended bidding tips customers share with each other. If you don’t WIN IT just BIN IT and get your bids back to keep on bidding!

3. No Jumper Auctions aka No New Bidders

The No Jumper auctions on DealDash are simple. If you have not placed a bid in the auction before the price reaches $5.00, the auction is closed and now new bidders are allowed to join. Only the people who placed a bid before the price went above $5.00 are allowed to bid in the auction. Customers love this because they know that someone who just came online to DealDash can’t enter the auction they are in if they weren’t there from the beginning.

4. Time As Highest Bidder

What could be more fun then collecting Free Bids? Our customers love this feature because it’s a generous reward system. The more you bid, the more free bids you collect. Everyone starts at level 1 where they have to collect 60 seconds as the highest bidder. Each second collected as highest bidder gets you closer to reaching the next level. Once you complete the each level you collect free bids! People especially love when DealDash has a special promotion where you can collect 3X or even 5X highest bidder rewards! This is when your level meter will fill up three or five times faster then usual allowing you to collect even more free bids at three or five times the speed you normally would.

5. Auction Blast Promotions

The auction blast promotions are so much fun! In fact, today DealDash has 150 auctions starting at the same time and tomorrow 200 auctions will be starting at the same time! During these auction blasts people regularly win super awesome deals because with so many auctions starting at the same time, not everyone on the site is able to bid in all of them. This creates a buzz and a bit of craziness with so many items selling fast and frequently!

200 AUCTIONS BLAST
Starting Sunday 2pm Pacific

People love shopping on DealDash because it’s really fun, exciting and unpredictable. You never know when you’re going to get that super deal which just blows you away! Whether it’s 32¢ for a quality baby stroller or $47 for a computer where you only used 22 bids, these types of deals are happening every day on DealDash!

What Halloween Bidder Were You This Year?

Here’s a guest blog post written by Joan Vith, a long time DealDash shopper for more than two years. This blog posts relates closely with Halloween and although we’re moving onto the up-coming holidays we could not resist sharing her creativity and Halloween comparisons.

What Halloween Bidder Were You This Year?

Are you Casper the Ghost when it comes to bidding? Are you the friendly spirit who will let someone else win the auction because the price has gone beyond what you would pay for the auction win? Or, are you Frankenstein? The bidder who will just not go away, continues to bid and haunts the other bidders persistently out bidding everyone else? Or….. are you the bright Jack-O-Lantern? You know the bidder that has the perky photo, and a great bio about all the good works done every day. The kind of bidder you almost feel guilty if you bid against them.

Then there is Bela Lugosi, remember him? His teeth are all fangs in the old movie classics and he is out for blood. He will stop at nothing to get the auction win.

Bela Lugosi

Do you sometimes feel like the “Headless Horseman” when you are bidding? You know the feeling, why am I still bidding? I am no longer following my regular winning strategies. Why can’t I let go? I am fleeing through the night on all the auctions I can bid on and nothing seems to be working.

I imagine this is the way all bidders feel at some point during auctions on DealDash. Sometimes all the wit and wisdom and research you have done just does not seem to be enough. Needless to say, the auctions can haunt you during the night but in the light of day, you know buy-it-now is a pretty good option and DealDash.com is the only site that offers all your bids back at no extra cost and never has any shipping fees. Pretty awesome auction site; fair and honest, fast delivery and buy it now if you don’t win. DealDash.com the best penny auction site around!

Don’t Make This Bidding Mistake

Help yourself win more auctions and save money by taking a few minutest to read through this article.

I have been playing on DealDash for over 2 years and have won hundreds of auctions. Every day I see people lose auctions because of the one simple bidding mistake and today I want to try and help you avoid this.

DealDash has a feature called Bid Buddy which basically will do the bidding for you. All you have to do is enter the number of bids you want to use in the auction and click Book Bid Buddy. You can cancel at anytime and any unused bids will be returned back to your account – win or lose. Using the Bid Buddy will help you save more bids because it will only bid for you when there are no single bids being placed and during the last second of the auction clock. I use this to my advantage every time I bid on DealDash.

Here’s an example!

I was really interested in winning this train table for my son (pictured below). One of the other bidders helped me do just that because they were making this crucial bidding mistake.

I can tell who is using their Bid Buddy and who is not. The people who are using Bid Buddy are bidding smart because they are conserving their bids and therefore more intimidating then the bid jumpers who single bid using the Bid Now button immediately after someone else bids.

I was watching this train table auction every minute and once the auction hit $5.00 (the No Jumper limit) there were only two people remaining who were using their Bid Buddy. I waited for the right time to enter the auction and booked my BidBuddy. Sure enough there was a new person that entered in as well, however this new person was making a bidding mistake which would later cause them to lose the auction.

They were going to lose because they were outbidding every other bidder until the price reached $8! I calculated they wasted approximately 150 bids because they were single bidding and not using the Bid Buddy. Due to this persons fast single bidding I was able to save my bids even longer and wait until one of the two on Bid Buddy left the auction before joining again.

In the end I spent a total of 55 bids (at 15¢ per bid = $8.25) and won the auction with a final sales price of $8.31. Although this was a great strategic win for me, I do feel a bit sorry for the others who were bid stomping away with single bids while I had my Bid Buddy booked. Why weren’t they using the Bid Buddy?

As for the bid jumper who was bidding every other bid from $5 to $8, they used approximately 150 bids which would cost $22.50 at 15¢ per bid. Of course they had the option to Buy it Now and get their 150 bids back however if they would have put their 150 bids into the Bid Buddy they would have out bid me for sure!

To make a long story short – use your Bid Buddy to help you win auctions on DealDash.com.

I’m sure there’s going to be other people making this same bidding mistake. Fortunately for us, we know this secret to conserving our bids which will help us win on DealDash.

Good luck and happy bidding!

Looking for the Best Time to Bid? Asking these Questions May Help

While night bidding for the best deal may be good, how about those who just can’t stay awake in the late night or early hours. When’s the best time to bid?

I have been bidding on DealDash.com since September of 2012 and over the course of these two years I have done a lot of auction research and watching to try and determine the best time to bid.

I do this because I’m curious to know about my competitors, how they bid and when they bid. For me, I typically watch more and bid less during the weekends because I find the weekdays to be the best time to bid. I have seen new bidders come in on Friday and Saturday and bid on practically all auctions that are open – not really paying attention to their selections. These bidders have likley not done their research or read the DealDash Reviews, tips and strategies. They have not learned that more successful bidders focus on one auction and try to avoid bidding on multiple auctions at the same time. The actual “winning” comes to those who are patient, selective of the auctions they choose, and have focus.

Help yourself find the best time to bid and develop a better bidding strategy by asking these questions:

  • What time of day are there a lot of bidders?
  • At what time does DealDash appear to be a little more quiet?
  • When do I notice a lot of new bidders?

If you watch the isolated auction information you can see the many avatars of the active bidders participating. If there are not a lot of bidders this may be a profitable auction for you.

  • Did you check the winners list for the day?
  • Did you notice how many auctions were won for just a few pennies?

I’ve found these 1 cent “penny deals” happen most often during non-peak bidding hours when the competition is less. Keeping these questions in mind, try to practice and research DealDash.com to see what time of day works best for you. You can also check out these 3 things you can do to improve your odds of winning. Final DealDash tip: remember your bid buddy is your best friend as it will help you conserve your bids by only bidding for you in the last few seconds of the auction.

Good luck and happy bidding!

Affordable Tablets for Kids and Families

My name is Nicki and I have been playing on DealDash since 2012. I have 3 kids ages 4, 11, and 21. They all have very different needs but the one thing they all have in common is their love for gaming; especially on their new affordable tablets.

As a mom I have a hard time finding new things to get my kids when it comes to birthdays and Christmas, however thanks to DealDash I’ve been able to find the newest gadgets and tablets for my family at affordable prices.

When browsing DealDash I came across this 32GB Asus Google Nexus 7 Tablet and decided to bid on it. The Buy it Now price was $160.00, however I decided to only book 200 bids into my BidBuddy. I just so happened to win this tablet with 164 bids (164 x .15 = $24.60) and a the final selling price of $10.78. Since you’re able to earn free bids on DealDash the average price per bid is less than 15¢, however the total cost calculated at 15¢ per bid plus the final selling price comes to $35.38. That’s an excellent savings on a high quality product!

I gave this tablet to my 11 year old kid and of course my 4 year old would not leave him alone because he wanted to play too. To level the playing field I went back to DealDash looking for a good deal for my youngest son.

I found a very suitable tablet that is awesome for a 4 year old! This is a Vtech InnoTab 3S Learning App Tablet and had a buy it now price of $93. I was able to win this with just 42 bids at less than 15¢ per bid when you include the free bids earned. The final selling price as $1.81 so including the cost of my bids, if they were valued at 15¢ per bid, the total cost comes to $8.11.

This learning tablet is SWEET and the deal made this Mommy very happy!! It has some very neat games for 4 year old’s, such a a Fire Truck game which he loves to play! It also has a cool feature where I can link the tablet to my cell phone and we can text back and forth over WiFi. We love sending pictures back and forth. 🙂

At this point my 21 year old was feeling a little left out so of course I wanted to get a little something for him too. This Proscan 7-Inch Tablet 8GB Memory Bonus Keyboard and Case came up for auction on DealDash which I decided to go for. After using just 26 bids I was able to win this auction with a final sales price of $0.99. This was during a Free Auction to the Winner Day therefore only had to pay a 1¢ transaction fee plus the cost of my bids which was very little. This tablet is awesome because he can do just about everything on this and typing is simple because it came with a keyboard.

I now have three very happy kids and no more fighting between the family over who’s turn it is to play. I won all of these by using the DealDash BidBuddy which is something I recommend everyone to use. I find using the BidBuddy to be the best way to win auctions on DealDash.

Enjoy the auctions and good luck!
