Getting Ready for Back to School with DealDash

As I was wandering the aisles of my local big box store today I saw that they have all of their “Back to School” items highlighted. Let’s see what we can get on DealDash for school!

Two out of my three kids will be going to school this year, and it’s amazing how much stuff that they need to bring, even in preschool! Gone are the days when all you needed was a pencil and a piece of paper, the schools in my area hand out huge lists of items that everyone is supposed to bring. Some of them aren’t even kid-related at all! Let’s see what we can get on DealDash to lighten the shopping burden.

Backpacks! All kids from preschool on up through high school and college need backpacks. Luckily for us, DealDash has a huge, and I mean HUGE selection of backpacks to choose from. There are waterproof backpacks, rough and tough military style backpacks, regular standard school backpacks, and even messenger bag type satchels. If you or your kids or grandkids need a backpack be sure to check out the selection on DealDash at this link right here.

Most kids from middle school on up will need their own laptops or at least a Chromebook to do their schoolwork on at home. I don’t know about at your house, but the way things usually work at my house is Mommy gets a new laptop and then she passes down her old one to the kids. Well, DealDash has so many laptops, Chromebooks, and iPads to choose from. I can get myself an awesome new laptop and pass my old one down to the kids. If you would like to check out the Electronics and Computer category on DealDash just click on this link right here.

No matter how many clothes your kids already have in their closets there’s just something fun about going back to school shopping for clothes. DealDash has some great gift cards that you can win to go clothes shopping for back to school such as Target, Wal*Mart, TJ Maxx, Sears, and many more. Just check out the Gift Cards Category right here and see what you can find.

Thinking about Dream Auctions

Do you ever think about what your dream auction might be? Is there something on DealDash that you can’t get out of your mind?

If you could bid on anything, absolutely anything, what would it be? DealDash has so much variety and there is something for just about anyone on your list at any given time. However, perhaps there is a certain item or category that you wish that DealDash would start putting up on their roster. If there’s something (or a whole category of somethings!) please leave a comment down below and I will pass it along to the wonderful folks at DealDash headquarters.

On the other hand, maybe DealDash does have what you dream of, but you have never gotten a chance to win that particular item. Well, never fear, my friends, DealDash often runs the same items if they proved to be a popular auction when they were previously up for bid. Is there an item that was up for bid before and you missed your chance, either by forgetting to bid, or perhaps you just didn’t have the time to devote to the auction that day? If so, same as above, please leave a comment down below and I will pass it along. Next time, though, remember to set your BidBuddy! Your BidBuddy is your best friend in a “one of a kind” auction situation. He will bid tirelessly for you as long as you keep feeding him bids.

If you have had a dream auction and won, wasn’t that just a wonderful feeling? Now maybe it’s time to pass on that great feeling by getting one of your loved ones a dream auction of their own! Why not check out the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category – there are amazing auctions for kids and kids at heart alike. There is sports equipment, outdoor toys, guitars, projector screens for the backyard, drones, and even go karts! The Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category truly has something for everyone that you love who would love to win a dream auction of their own.

I hope that this article has encouraged you to think about your dream auction. Dream big, check out DealDash at this link right here, and have a great week. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

During the summer one of the “hottest” categories on DealDash is the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games section. Let’s see what everyone is bidding on this summer.

The Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category has tons of fun things for kids and kids at heart alike. There is sports equipment like bikes, trampolines, and swimming pools which are always great things to try and win to please the whole family. The pools are especially great because they can be set up and taken down and stored for the next summer. In addition to sports equipment there are also some “grown up toys” such as projector screens for the backyard, drones, and even go karts! The Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category truly has something for everyone.

If you look past the wildly popular items that I listed above there are also some hidden gems in the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category. For instance, did you know that you can find gun cabinets in this category? It’s true! May Is National Bike Month – Get Yours at DealDash

Most children and adults enjoy riding bikes in the nice weather. May is National Bike Month, if you need a new ride check out DealDash.

Bikes are fun for everyone who is able bodied enough to walk, from the smallest child to senior citizens. Bikes are not only fun, but they are the primary mode of transportation for many people, and burn lots of calories helping you get your work out for the day while you are enjoying a bike ride. Bikes are great for getting the family together for a nice ride around the neighborhood, and fun for small kids to just ride up and down the driveway. What kind of bike is right for you or your children or grandchildren, though? Read on below and we will discuss a few different types of bicycles and their targeted users.

Mountain bikes are ideal for biking on different kinds of terrains, especially rough and uneven trails. Mountain bikes have different speeds so you can transition from gravel roads to rough trails to a paved road with no problem whatsoever. Mountain bikes tend to be extremely sturdy and are built to take a beating and still last.

If mountains and rough trails aren’t your thing, how about a beach cruiser bike? Beach cruisers aren’t just for the beach! They have spring saddle seats for a comfortable and upright riding position, and swept-back cruiser handlebars for arm comfort. Beach cruisers are great bikes for the casual rider who enjoys a ride around the neighborhood instead of an intense workout. Beach cruisers are also a popular bike with seniors and vacationers. Personally, I have a Schwinn beach cruiser and it’s the most comfortable bike that I have ever ridden, and the only one that hasn’t caused me to have a sore body afterwards.

Lastly, we can’t forget children’s bikes! I’ve never met a kid who wasn’t excited to go for a bike ride. I got both of my older children bikes for Christmas and they are so excited for Spring to be here so they can go out and ride them more often. The most important thing with kid’s bikes is to make sure that you get your child the right size. I will include a chart below that shows what size bike (in inches) that you should be looking for when you are shopping for a bike for a child.

DealDash regularly has bikes for kids and adults , and even safety equipment up for auction. Please make sure that everyone in your family is wearing a helmet every single time they go for a bike ride, no matter how short or how close to home. It only takes one second to get into an accident.

So the next time you are in the market for a new bicycle or any of the other fine bike products that DealDash has to offer you should head on over, book your Bid Buddy, and sit back and enjoy the thrill of the auction. And remember, if you have bid up the auction to the point of retail price you should go ahead and hit the “Buy It Now” (BIN) button, because when you BIN the item for the retail price you get every single one of your bids back, immediately. You can then use them all over again to try and win another auction. Good luck and Happy Bidding, everyone!

Everyone Loves to Ride a Schwinn

Raise your hand if you’ve been around since 1895. No? No one? Well, Schwinn has!

In 1895 Ignaz Schwinn (with a little help from Adolph Frederick and William Arnold) founded the Arnold, Schwinn & Company. Schwinn’s new company coincided with a sudden bicycle craze in America. Chicago became the center of the American bicycle industry, with thirty factories turning out thousands of bikes every day. Bicycle output in the United States grew to over a million bikes per year by the turn of the 20th century.

There were quite a few ups and downs through the Great Depression years, but by 1950, Schwinn had decided the time was right to grow their brand. In that era, most bicycle manufacturers in the United States sold in bulk to department stores, which in turn sold them as store brand models. Schwinn decided to try something different. With the exception of B. F. Goodrich bicycles, sold in tire stores, Schwinn eliminated the practice of rebranding in 1950, insisting that the Schwinn brand and Schwinn guarantee appear on all products. In exchange for ensuring the presence of the Schwinn name, distributors retained the right to distribute Schwinn bikes to any hardware store, toy store, or bicycle shop that ordered them.

Now that you know a little about the history of Schwinn bicycles, let’s decide which one is the right Schwinn for you. If you’re into the rough and tough outdoors thing, how about a 26-inch Schwinn Sidewinder Mountain Bike? The 26-inch Schwinn mountain bike is ideal for biking on different kinds of terrains, especially rough and uneven trails. There are 7 speeds on this mountain bike.

If mountains and rough trails aren’t your thing, how about a Women’s Fairhaven 26″ Cruiser? There’s a spring saddle for a comfortable and upright riding position, and swept-back cruiser handlebars for your riding comfort. It has super cute teal-colored wheels, and the seat has contrasting teal and brown colors.

Lastly, if you know a kid who has had a great school year this year, how about rewarding them with a Cosmo 16″ Boys’ Bike? Made with a steel frame, this Schwinn boys’ bike will hold up to daily use, ride after ride, and includes fenders to keep his legs dry from road splashes. Kid’s will love the red and blue design, and they will be able to take those training wheels off in no time!

That’s just a small sampling of all of the Schwinn products that DealDash has up for auction regularly. There are also elliptical machines, tricycles for kids and adults , and even safety equipment.

So the next time you are in the market for a new bicycle or any of the other fine Schwinn products that DealDash has to offer you should head on over, book your Bid Buddy, and sit back and enjoy the thrill of the auction. And remember, if you have bid up the auction to the point of retail price you should go ahead and hit the “Buy It Now” (BIN) button, because when you BIN the item for the retail price you get every single one of your bids back, immediately. You can then use them all over again to try and win another auction. Good luck and Happy Bidding, eveyone!
