Last Minute Toys for Christmas

The time to shop for Christmas is quickly drawing to a close. However, if you hurry you can win last-minute toys!

I know that there are a few last-minute shoppers out there. After taking a quick poll at my part-time job the other day it seems like I am the only one who has gotten all of their shopping and wrapping taken care of. Shopping for kids can be the most fun experience of the year, even if you are a little bit behind. There’s still time to win toys on DealDash, and if you pay today you will receive them in time for Christmas! There are some exceptions, of course, but most items can be delivered in time for Santa to leave them under the tree.

What is the perfect last-minute gift for girls or boys? Legos! There are Legos of every color and so many different sets that encompass so many different interests of boys, girls, and both. Either gender can enjoy tie-ins to popular movies, video games, and TV shows such as Angry Birds, Ghostbusters, and Elves. If the child you’re shopping for is too young for regular Legos try the Duplo blocks. Around my house we call them “Baby Legos.” DealDash has both types – Lego and Duplo – up for auction.

Another great last-minute toy idea is ride-on cars! Toddlers on up through early elementary-aged kids love these. My niece has a ride-on car that looks like a little VW Bug, it’s adorable! The good thing about these ride-on toys is that they look awesome under the tree. They are a real “WOW!!” type of present. They don’t need as much space as you might think, either. My niece rides hers around the basement, as it’s too cold to drive it around outside now.

Getting Ready for Back to School with DealDash

As I was wandering the aisles of my local big box store today I saw that they have all of their “Back to School” items highlighted. Let’s see what we can get on DealDash for school!

Two out of my three kids will be going to school this year, and it’s amazing how much stuff that they need to bring, even in preschool! Gone are the days when all you needed was a pencil and a piece of paper, the schools in my area hand out huge lists of items that everyone is supposed to bring. There is sports equipment like bikes, trampolines, and swimming pools which are always great things to try and win to please the whole family. The pools are especially great because they can be set up and taken down and stored for the next summer.
