Step-by-Step DealDash Tutorial Instructions

DealDashIt’s DealDash tutorial time, ya’ll! If you haven’t taken the tutorial, it’s time!

You can take the DealDash tutorial at any time, you don’t have to be a “brand newbie.” Heck, I didn’t take the tutorial until I had been bidding on DealDash for 2 years or so. DealDash has made the process of learning how to use the site so much easier and more fun with the tutorial. You can see how the auctions work before you try to jump in yourself. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to use the DealDash tutorial.

Where is the Tutorial?

The tutorial is located in the in the “Help” section on the site. There are lots of helpful things there, but the tutorial is what we are concentrating on today. Look at the picture below, and you will see a message welcoming you to DealDash.

Learn How to Bid

You can use the tutorial to win a bid pack of 10 bids. You will see that your bids are being used to participate in this tutorial, but DealDash will return them to you after the tutorial, and you will get to keep the bid pack of 10 bids that you will win playing against the computer as well. Like I said, you can take the tutorial at any time, so if you’re low on bids and haven’t taken the tutorial you should do so to get your 10 free bids.

What Does the Tutorial Do?

The tutorial is like a game against the computer. You will see other people participating in the pretend auction, but these aren’t actually real people. They are just there to show you how other people might act when you are playing against humans. The first thing that the tutorial shows you how to do is bid by placing single bids with the “Bid Now” button.

The Tutorial Teaches You About BidBuddy

This tutorial will also teach you how to use BidBuddy. The BidBuddy is used more often when bidding in auctions than placing single bids, so it’s a good thing to familiarize yourself with. The tutorial can help you do that.

After Winning…

After you win the auction in the tutorial you will get a glimpse of what happens when you win a real auction. The first time I won a real auction I was a little confused as to why there were fireworks on my screen. The tutorial will show you exactly what to look for.

DealDash Tutorial

BIN it…

One important thing on DealDash that the tutorial doesn’t show you is how to do a BIN (Buy It Now). This is an important thing to know because if you don’t win the item you’re bidding on you can buy it at retail price and get back all of your bids.

When you BIN the item for the retail price you get every single one of the bids back that you placed, as well as getting free shipping. When you don’t win an auction it just makes sense to do a BIN and receive your bids back. You are the “winner” of the auction in the tutorial, so that’s why it doesn’t show you how to BIN.

Having FUN FUN FUN on DealDash!

DealDash

Let’s have some fun on DealDash today, bidders. Read on for some tips and tricks to get you going.

Welcome to the most fun bidding site around! DealDash is here to entertain you and help you have a fun time bidding. How does DealDash offer you a fun experience? Read on to get more information and some tips on how to use the site to your best advantage.

What Fun Are Bids?

There are lots of fun to be had when you’re thinking about DealDash bids. What’s the most thing that you can think of when you’re imagining DealDash bids? FREE bids, of course! If having a brand new bid pack of DealDash bids is fun, then having a brand new pack of FREE bids is twice as fun.

You can obtain free bids from DealDash in quite a few different ways. One example is to participate in DealDash contests. There is currently a contest that asks bidders to send in their “Best Idea” for DealDash, and you can win free bids by sending in the best idea of the month. Isn’t that cool?! So get thinking, bidders, you could be the next winner.

You Know What’s Fun? Promotions!

DealDash often runs special promotions. Not every single day, but at least a few times per week. You need to check every day to see if one of these great promotions is running.

  • 50, 75, or 100 auctions start at once. During this ultra-fun promotion, many auctions start at the exact same time. This promotion often takes place during a holiday weekend, but it has happened other times as well, so be sure to check in with DealDash often to see if this promotion is running.
  • FREE auction wins. A free auction means that there is no final auction fee that needs to be paid. You will just be charged .01 as a processing fee.
  • Half-priced auction wins. A half-priced auction means that whatever the final auction fee is listed, it will be half of that final price.
  • No Jumpers $3. This promotion doesn’t let any new bidders join the auction after the auction price has hit $3. This promo means less competition in individual auctions. This promotion is fun because with a little persistance you can get some very high value items for less money than usual.

Hey New DealDash Bidders! Read This!

dealdashHey new bidders! Read this article with some tips, tricks, and ideas to get you started on DealDash.

Is today your first day on DealDash? Welcome to the best bidding site around! DealDash is also what is called an “Entertainment Shopping” website, which means that you can play around and have fun on the site, but you can also order some great products as well. If you’re not familiar with all of the inner-workings of DealDash, then please do read on to get more information and some tips on how to use the site effectively.

What is a DealDash Bid?

For starters, DealDash is what’s known as a “Pay to bid” site. The way this works is you buy the bids before you are ready to bid, and then use the bids as you like on different auctions.

You can place as few as 1 bid on an auction, all the way up to as many bids as you have purchased. So in other words, if you were to buy a pack of 100 bids you can place 1 bid on 100 auctions, all 100 bids on 1 auction, or anything in between. With DealDash, it’s up to you how you would like to spend your bids.

What is the Price of Bids and Auctions?

When you first sign up with DealDash, you need to buy your first bid pack. The bids are usually discounted, around .12-.15 per bid.

The auctions are a different story. They might be full price, half price, or even free! It all depends on if DealDash is running a special promotion that day or not.

  • If the auction is full price, then the final auction fee will be whatever number that the auction ends at – it could be as low as 1 penny if there was only one bidder, or it could get up into hundreds of dollars if it’s a more expensive item like a TV or computer.
  • If the auction is half price, it means that whatever the final auction fee is listed, it will be half of that price. DealDash often runs half off promotions.
  • If the auction is free, it means that there is no final auction fee charged. You will just be charged .01 as a processing fee.

BIN it or WIN it!

You might remember earlier in this article when I mentioned that DealDash is an Entertainment Shopping website. Essentially, what this means, is that you can bid on items on DealDash, have a good time, and if you don’t win then you can buy the item at retail price and get back all of your bids.

Say you’re bidding on an item for your home. If you aren’t the winner of the auction then you are eligible to do a “Buy It Now” or “BIN” on the auction. When you BIN the item for the retail price you get every single one of the bids back that you placed, as well as getting free shipping. When you don’t win an auction it just makes sense to do a BIN and receive your bids back. This way you can use them all over again in a different auction. Give it a try!
