Loving Your DealDash Experience

loving DealDash

DealDash’s goal is to have everyone love their experience on the site. Here are some ideas to get the most out of it.

If you’re a newbie and you haven’t been having a great experience on DealDash, you might not be using the site to the fullest extent. It’s hard to consistently win auctions if you don’t know what you are doing, and that’s where the DealDash Blog comes in to help. We want you to love DealDash and have a great experience every time, even if you don’t win, and the way to do that is to learn everything about DealDash that you can!

Being an Excellent Bidder

How can you learn to be an excellent bidder if you’re new to the site? There is an easy answer to that, and it is to watch the more experienced bidders in the big auctions. Even if you’re not planning on bidding on a larger auction such as a TV or video game system you should still watch some of those auctions as they are happening.

By watching the more experienced bidders in the bigger auctions you will get a much better idea of how to develop your own bidding style. When you’ve decided on a bidding style that you would like to use, then it’s time to start bidding in auctions yourself.

Choosing the Correct Auctions to Bid On

Before you start bidding you’ll need to purchase a bid pack. The bid packs range from around 50 to 2,000! After buying the bid pack you can figure out exactly which auction that you would like to enter. You can start with an auction that is currently in progress, as long as the final auction price hasn’t reached the $5 “No Jumper Limit.”

You can start with an auction that is currently in progress, as long as the final auction price hasn’t reached the $5 “No Jumper Limit.” You may also choose to enter an auction that is happening in the near future by loading up your BidBuddy with the appropriate number of bids to reach the BIN (Buy It Now) price.

Choosing an auction to bid in is one of the most fun parts about DealDash! Personally, I would suggest starting off with a gift card auction. That way if you have reached the BIN (Buy It Now) price you can simply buy the gift card for the regular face-value, receive all of your bids back, and also get free shipping. It’s a no-risk auction when you bid on a gift card that you would have purchased anyway such as a gas gift card.

I hope this article has encouraged you to learn more about DealDash. You should definitely check out DealDash’s “Tips & Tricks” section on the site. It’s full of great information that you will find helpful when bidding on DealDash. Just click this link right here and you can check it out. Good Luck and Happy Bidding, everyone!

Video Games on DealDash for Christmas

Image result for video games for christmasIf you’re wondering what to get your child, teen, or other relative – video games! DealDash has many to choose from…

When you’re looking to purchase (or win!) video games as a gift for someone, the main thing that you have to figure out is what system that they use to play games. Do they use an Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, Wii, a gaming computer, or something else? There are few things more disappointing to a child than to get a really awesome video game, and not be able to play it due to owning a different game system.

The good new, though, is that if they have an Xbox One they are backwards compatible, meaning that if someone already has an Xbox membership, and either digital or disc based games they are in luck, because they will work with the Xbox One.

However, there is nothing to be done if you get them an Xbox game and they have a Playstation, instead. So it’s very important that you get them the correct brand of video game.

Now that you know the most important part, the next step is to find out what types of games they like. There are many different genres of games such as:

  • Action
  • Shooter
  • Simulation
  • RPG
  • Strategy
  • Tower defense
  • Sports
  • Trivia
  • Many, many others

Once you have determined the game system, and the preferred genre of game, then all that’s left to do is choose a game! I have had some luck with getting family members the newest releases in their favorite genre, but if you are dealing with a hardcore gamer, then they might have pre-ordered theirs already. In this case, the smartest thing to do would be to get them a gift card for the game store, or for the Xbox or Playstation digital store.

If you are thinking of getting someone video games for Christmas, why don’t you head on over to DealDash and see what auctions are currently running? There are almost always video game auctions running, of different game platforms and genres. There are also game accessories available. There are also game store gift cards up for auction. Now get out there and find some great auctions! Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Happy Halloween 2016 from DealDash!

https://www.dealdash.com/?utm_source=referral&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=DDBlogDawn

Happy Halloween! Here’s to a safe and fun Halloween for everyone.

Halloween is a time for scary fun, and great seasonal treats as well. Halloween perfectly embodies the spirit of the crisp and chilly fall season. The earliest traces of the origin of Halloween are found with the Celtic festival, Samhain, which was the Celtic New Year. Samhain, of course, has very little to do with today’s Halloween festivities, though.

Gemmy Halloween Airblown Pumpkins Stack on Each Other

If you’re wondering why we carve pumpkins on Halloween, carving a “Jack-o’-lantern” originated with the Irish immigrants (Hi Grandma and Grandpa!) brought the tradition to America, where pumpkins were plentiful and far easier to carve than the original large turnips and potatoes that were used in Ireland. The story about the Jack-o’-lantern comes from an Irish folktale about a man named Stingy Jack. The story is much too scary to tell here on this family blog – but suffice to say that carving  a Jack-o’-lantern is a perfect thing to do to get into a spooky frame of mind.

Interestingly enough, Halloween is the second most commercially successful holiday here in the USA – trailing after Christmas, of course. You might wonder what all of that money is going towards. Candy is a huge part of it, of course, Americans buy about 600 million pounds of candy each year for Halloween. Also going towards the tally are costumes, pumpkins, party supplies, and decorations. About 50% of households in the US decorate for Halloween, which makes things so much more fun for the trick-or-treaters.

If you didn’t decorate your house for Halloween this year, consider decorating next year. DealDash can help – throughout the year DealDash offers a selection of Halloween decorations, including large inflatable lawn decorations that are usually very expensive. You can get an awesome deal if you win one! And if you don’t win, you can always BIN (Buy It Now) and receive all of your bids back to try again on another auction, as well as getting free shipping. Now that’s a ghoul of a deal! Just click this link here to visit DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

DealDash Says Goodbye to August

 Image result for goodbye august

Can you believe today is the last day of August? To many people this symbolizes the end of the summer season. Let’s look back at our summer.

It’s been quite a summer, so many different things have been happening all over the world this summer. Here is a quick re-cap of the exciting things that have happened over the past few months.

In June the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union. It was a very tight vote, leaving won by 52% to 48%. The referendum turnout was 71.8%, with more than 30 million people voting. This might not seem like it’s very relevant to us leaving here in the USA, but when something this important happens it’s effects are likely to be felt around the world, especially in financial ways.

In July, in a 4+ year journey to the solar system’s largest planet, NASA’s Juno spacecraft successfully entered Jupiter’s orbit. The Juno spacecraft launched on Aug. 5, 2011 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.  Juno will orbit Jupiter 37 times in all. One trip around Jupiter takes Juno about 14 days. Juno’s mission is important, because Juno is doing this trip to help us learn more about our solar system; and what we learn could help us find more new planets!

In August, of course, were the Summer Olympic games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. 11,303 athletes took part, and luckily,  the United States dominated the medal table for the fifth time in the past six Summer Olympics, winning the most golds (46) and most medals overall (121).

I hope that everyone had a wonderful summer! You can keep the fun and excitement of the summer going through fall if you download the free DealDash app on either the Google Play store or the Apple App store.
