Thinking about Dream Auctions

Do you ever think about what your dream auction might be? Is there something on DealDash that you can’t get out of your mind?

If you could bid on anything, absolutely anything, what would it be? DealDash has so much variety and there is something for just about anyone on your list at any given time. However, perhaps there is a certain item or category that you wish that DealDash would start putting up on their roster. If there’s something (or a whole category of somethings!) please leave a comment down below and I will pass it along to the wonderful folks at DealDash headquarters.

On the other hand, maybe DealDash does have what you dream of, but you have never gotten a chance to win that particular item. Well, never fear, my friends, DealDash often runs the same items if they proved to be a popular auction when they were previously up for bid. Is there an item that was up for bid before and you missed your chance, either by forgetting to bid, or perhaps you just didn’t have the time to devote to the auction that day? If so, same as above, please leave a comment down below and I will pass it along. Next time, though, remember to set your BidBuddy! Your BidBuddy is your best friend in a “one of a kind” auction situation. He will bid tirelessly for you as long as you keep feeding him bids.

If you have had a dream auction and won, wasn’t that just a wonderful feeling? Now maybe it’s time to pass on that great feeling by getting one of your loved ones a dream auction of their own! Why not check out the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category – there are amazing auctions for kids and kids at heart alike. There is sports equipment, outdoor toys, guitars, projector screens for the backyard, drones, and even go karts! The Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category truly has something for everyone that you love who would love to win a dream auction of their own.

I hope that this article has encouraged you to think about your dream auction. Dream big, check out DealDash at this link right here, and have a great week. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Taking a Close Look at Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games

During the summer one of the “hottest” categories on DealDash is the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games section. Let’s see what everyone is bidding on this summer.

The Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category has tons of fun things for kids and kids at heart alike. There is sports equipment like bikes, trampolines, and swimming pools which are always great things to try and win to please the whole family. The pools are especially great because they can be set up and taken down and stored for the next summer. In addition to sports equipment there are also some “grown up toys” such as projector screens for the backyard, drones, and even go karts! The Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category truly has something for everyone.

If you look past the wildly popular items that I listed above there are also some hidden gems in the Hobbies, Toys, Outdoors, and Games category. For instance, did you know that you can find gun cabinets in this category? It’s true! Just take a peek at this link right here. Another awesome item that is hiding in this category is a set that has an electric guitar and amp! Who would have ever thought that you would be able to get an electric guitar on DealDash? If you don’t believe me just click this link right here and take a look for yourself!

Great Christmas Gift Series: Xbox One

Welcome to the newest DealDash series – “Great Christmas Gifts.” If you’re a person who struggles every year trying to think of gifts to get your family and friends, this series is for YOU!

The Xbox One is made by Microsoft, and it’s one of the most popular gaming systems available right now. There are a huge amount of games that can be played on this game system, from children to teens to adults.

If you have a person in your life who loves video games and currently owns an Xbox 360 you might want to consider giving them an upgrade to the Xbox One for Christmas this year. The best news about upgrading someone who already owns an Xbox 360 is that the Xbox One is backwards compatible, meaning that if someone already has an Xbox membership, and either digital or disc based games they are in luck, because they will work with the Xbox One.

If you’re shopping for a couple and the guy is really into video games and the lady not so much – not to worry, they can both enjoy the Xbox One, because even though it’s more known for it’s awesome games, you can also download apps onto your Xbox One, as well as watch internet-based TV such as Netflix or Hulu through the Xbox one, no computer needed. If you’re wondering how that works, it’s pretty simple. The Xbox One runs on three operating systems: the Xbox One system, a Windows 8 kernel, and a third operating system made by Microsoft to act as glue between the two main operating systems. This helps aid you in being able to switch between games, TV, the web,  and any other apps that you might end up downloading.

The Xbox One has a really cool voice recognition system that powers the console. This makes it easy for the Xbox’s owner to give the Xbox One voice commands like as ‘Xbox on,’ or ‘Xbox, TV’. The Xbox One also has a new built-in Kinect, so the Xbox One can also be controlled with gestures, like a wave of the hand, or by grabbing and dragging things.

The new Kinect that’s built in has a 1080p camera and can also recognize different people by identifying their faces. It syncs and stores this information with this person’s Gamertag and Xbox Live account if they would like to sign on to a friend’s console. This means that if several people are gaming on one console which has all of their information stored, the camera on the Kinect is able to identify which player is holding the controller in order to do things such as update a game’s scores. Pretty cool, huh?

If you are thinking of getting someone (even yourself!) an Xbox One for Christmas, why don’t you head on over to DealDash and see what auctions are currently running? There are almost always Xbox One auctions running, be it a game or an accessory. Now get out there and find some great auctions! Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Playstation Rules the Gaming World

Has the word “PlayStation” invaded your vocabulary? Do you have a child over the age of about 5? Let’s Play!

Who among us has never played a PlayStation game, be it with your child, your buddies, or even just to blow off some steam of a hard day’s work? Let’s just say that you enjoy the Sony PlayStation because your children like it. I don’t know about your kids, but my son is crazy for the Disney INFINITY video game series. Here’s how it works:

You can star in an original Disney adventure, in which you’ll battle enemies, solve puzzles, conquer obstacles and complete a variety of other exciting quests, all by placing your INFINITY figures onto the Base. As easy as that you can transport yourself to the worlds of your favorite Disney movies! There are all kinds to choose from, in the example in the above paragraph, Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles, Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean and Sulley from Monsters Inc are all included in the set. You can mix and match unique combinations of characters, buildings, weapons, gadgets and more in the virtual Toy Box to build an entire new game world of your own imagination. It’s really a lot of fun, you can play with 1-4 players age 6+.

If children’s games aren’t your cup of tea, and you thirst for adventure instead, how about picking up a copy of The Last of Us for PlayStation? The Last of Us blends elements of survival and action, and defines the survival adventure genre by placing you in the heart of the adventure to outlast a modern plague on your journey across the decimated United States. You play as Joel, a survivor, and Ellie, a teenage girl, you must work together to fend off dangerous foes, terrifying enemies and other survivors who will do anything to save themselves.

Of course, maybe you aren’t interested in children’s games or adventure– How about sports? PlayStation has one of the best selection of sports titles, there’s EA SPORTS UFCGran Turismo 5 (if you are the sort that thinks racing is a sport!), or Madden NFL 25 just to name a few.

Sony gives us such a great variety of games, and they also don’t disappoint on accessories! There’s a  PlayStation Camera for the PS4, a DUALSHOCK 4 Controller, a Controller Charging Station, and many more.

Almost everyone knows that PlayStation is a Sony brand, but did you know that the “PlayStation” brand was first introduced on December 3, 1994 (in Japan) with the launch of the original PlayStation console? The Playstation (PS2) was released 6 years later in the year 2000. Since then we have seen two more new PlayStation consoles, the PS3 in 2006, and the PS4 in 2013, where it sold 1 million consoles in its first 24 hours available, becoming the fastest selling console in history. Now that’s a lot of PlayStation fun!

If you love games, why don’t you head on over to DealDash and see what PlayStation auctions are currently running? Not a day goes by that I don’t see at least one PlayStation product, be it a game or an accessory. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Xbox is for Everyone

If you took a poll of 20 teenage guys I bet 19 of them would say that they enjoy playing Xbox. However, Xbox isn’t just for teen guys, read on…

Xbox One is Microsoft’s newest Xbox console, but lots of people still enjoy playing the Xbox 360 , including my Aunt! She is 64 years old and you should see her playing Minecraft on her 360, she is just as good as any teenage kid out there! Most ladies her age would rather be reading, doing puzzles, or knitting, but Aunty loves Xbox. She originally bought the Xbox 360 to have at her house when her grand kids came over to visit, but little by little she got hooked on the great graphics and fun story lines of some of the different games.

Of course, there are plenty of games out for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 that don’t appeal to her such as the Grand Theft Auto series. However, there are plenty of games available for people of all ages from Elementary school age, such as Angry Birds: Star Wars to fun family games like Kinect Sports Rivals that everyone can enjoy. One favorite series at my house is all of the Lego themed games such as The Lego Movie Video game (yes, that’s really what it’s called!), Lego The Hobbit, and my Son’s personal favorite – LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes.

The original Xbox (not the 360, the one before that) was the first video game console offered by an American company after the Atari Jaguar stopped sales in 1996.  The original Xbox was released on November 15, 2001 in the United States, and has sold over 24 million units.  Microsoft’s second console, the Xbox 360, was released in 2005 and has sold over 77.2 million consoles worldwide. The successor to the Xbox 360 and Microsoft’s most recent console, the Xbox One,  was revealed on May 21, 2013. The Xbox One has a large emphasis on internet-based features; including the ability to record and stream game play, and the ability to integrate with a set-top box to watch cable or satellite TV through the console.

One of the most interesting and innovative features of the Xbox 360 and Xbox One is the Kinect controller. The Kinect is a motion-sensing controller, similar to the Wii Plus Remote, except the Kinect can also be controlled by by voice, which is definitely a step up in my opinion.

Now that I have told you a little bit about my family and how we enjoy the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, why don’t you head on over to DealDash and see what Xbox auctions are currently running? Not a day goes by that I don’t see at least one Xbox product, be it a game or accessory. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!
