DealDash Customers are Awesome!

DealDashThere are some very special people – they’re called DealDash customers! Here is how DealDash shows their appreciation for all of their bidders.

There are different bidding sites that you could choose – yet you choose DealDash. This makes a lot of sense, seeing as how DealDash has the best and most helpful employees around. Even though the employees are great, the customers are the real stars of DealDash. This is why DealDash is so happy you’re here, and want to make sure that you are getting all of the help that you need on DealDash. Read on for more information on both DealDash customers and customer service.

Need Help With Anything? No Problem!

You can contact a customer service representative on DealDash anytime, day or night. Just go down to the bottom of the home page and there will be a button that says “Contact Support.”  Simply click on that button and you’ll be taken to a screen where you can choose to either send DealDash an email or click on a “Live Support” button.

Personally, I don’t care to do live support, but I have never had a DealDash issue that needed an immediate answer, either. If it’s something important that can’t wait, then live support is just what you need. Perhaps you have a question that can wait a bit longer, in that case, you might want to send DealDash an email. You’ll get a reply back within a day or so. I have actually had a reply back within 2 hours, so emailing doesn’t necessarily mean that you will have to wait a full day for an answer, either.

Bid Sales, Promotions, and Free Bids

DealDash is so happy that you choose to bid on the site that they always offer some great perks to their loyal bidders. There are many things that you might think of when you think of DealDash perks, but I’d say that the top three favorites are bid sales, promotions, and free bids. Here are how those all work:

  1. Bid Sales – Even though DealDash bids are technically worth .60 a piece, DealDash has different sales going on almost every day. A bidder can pick up a bid pack for as low as .12 per bid, but keep in mind that .12 bid sale are usually reserved for holidays.
  2. Promotions – DealDash has many different promotions that are offered. Some of these are 2x and 3x Time As The Highest Bidder (TATHB) which means that you collect time on your time clock even faster than normal. Another bidder favorite regarding promotions is the $3 No Jumper limit. Normally, there are no new bidders allowed into DealDash auctions after the auction reaches a price of $5. However, during this promotion there are no new bidders allowed in after $3. This results in less competition for you.
  3. Free Bids – What’s better than a bid sale? Free bids, of course! You can get free bids on DealDash in a variety of ways such as the TATHB that we talked about in item #2, but that’s only one way! You can also get free bids by just visiting DealDash every day and placing a bid. You will get more free bids each day that you visit DealDash consecutively, until you are getting a cool 30 free bids per day.

DealDashVisit the Electronics and Computer category to see what’s new and interesting on DealDash.

The DealDash Electronics and Computer category is full of new, fun, and interesting things to browse and bid on. With the holidays coming up in the near future you’ll want to start thinking about what kinds of presents that you might want to get for your friends and family. Why not start looking on the DealDash Electronics and Computer category? Read on for more information.

Buy Gifts for Kids

If your kids are anything like mine, they love electronics. They don’t use their own computers yet, but they sure do love their tablets. If your kids are age five or older, they probably have some kind of personal electronic device such as an iPad, iTouch, or another MP3 player. What sort of thing are your kids interested in this year? Here are some suggestions of what you might like to try to win for them in the Dealdash Electronics and Computer category.

  • Drone. If you have older kids, such as age ten and up, they are probably interested in drones. Drones are cool and can be such a fun thing to do together as a family, exploring the neighborhood with your very own drone.
  • Headphones or earbuds. These make excellent stocking stuffers! Kids tend to lose and break things much easier than adults do, so it’s a smart idea to have a few extra sets on hand so they don’t have to stop using their MP3 players when they misplace their headphones.

What Does Dad Want?

It’s a fact, dads love electronics. From TVs to video game systems to computers, dads are always in the market for the latest and greatest items. If you’re not sure what dad might like for the holidays this year, here are some ideas that you can look for in the Dealdash Electronics and Computer category.

  • Portable Bluetooth Speaker. Dads love listening to music or “the game” while they are outside doing yard work or hanging out with their buddies. Why not give dad a treat and get him a portable bluetooth speaker?
  • Action Sports Camera. If dad is a sporty guy and enjoys surfing, skiing, golfing, or other outdoor pursuits he would love an action sports camera. They are tough and take excellent pictures and videos.

What Does Your College Student Need?

Buying a gift for a college student can be a tricky thing to do. You don’t want to pick them out clothing that they will never wear, so maybe you should stick with electronics. Here are some things they might like from the Dealdash‘s Electronics and Computer category.

  • Chromebook. Most college students already have full-sized laptops to do their schoolwork. However, what if they want to do their work at the coffee shop, library, or elsewhere? A Chromebook is much lighter and easier to carry, and very affordable.
  • Phone Case. If you’re looking for a stocking stuffer, a phone case fits the bill. College students love their Smartphones, and protecting them stylishly is important to them.

Download the DealDash App

What Are You Doing with Your DealDash Wins?

DealDash

You’ve been getting a lot of DealDash wins lately. What are you doing with them?

If you’ve been bidding on DealDash for a while you probably have been accumulating a lot of wins. There are only so many items that you can really use for yourself. Here are some tips and ideas for what you can do with your DealDash wins.

Save Them for the Holidays

It seems like they move the holiday celebrations up earlier and earlier every year. I was at the mall last night and one of the department stores already had their Christmas trees and other decorations up for sale! Now that we have entered October, you might want to think about starting to save some of your wins to use as gifts. Alternately, you could start bidding on specific things that you think people might like as gifts.

I find that the gift cards can be enjoyed by just about everyone. If you are the sort of person who likes to give away small gift cards to service people such as your paper delivery person, mail person, and garbage collector, DealDash has some great choices that anyone could use such as Subway or Dunkin’ Donuts.

Choose Your Gift, Then BIN

If you don’t win the gift card outright, then you can always BIN (Buy It Now) and get the gift card, free shipping, and all of your bids back to use on another auction. You will also get to keep the “clock time” that you earned by bidding on the gift card.

This situation is true for any product on DealDash that you want to bid on. If you see a piece of art, an electronic item, or anything else that you think would make a perfect gift, just win it or BIN it!

Don’t Forget to Donate

We’ve all done it – bid on an item that we weren’t crazy about just because it looked like an easy win. Once you do win it, if it’s not something that you think someone you know would enjoy getting as a gift, why not donate it to charity? There are so many different charities that accept donations, from church groups, to the animal shelter to national disaster relief groups. It will help someone else and make you feel good as well. Remember, just because something isn’t your “cup of tea” doesn’t mean that someone else wouldn’t appreciate it.

The Early Bird Gets the Good Deal on DealDash

I am similar to most people on DealDash, I think – we all love to shop! And one of the most satisfying shopping experiences that a person can have is to be completely done with all of their Christmas shopping by the end of November.

I was able to do this last year with a little help from DealDash, but this year it’s going to be even easier. I’ll let you guys in on a little secret…Starting Monday August 10th DealDash is running their “Early Christmas Gift Sale” promotion! It runs all week, and includes discounted bids as well as 2x Highest Bidder time!

Since you have a couple of days until this promotion starts maybe you should start thinking about what your friends and family might like for Christmas this year. I have 2 small kids (and 1 on the way!) so I am pretty in tune with what the infant-to-elementary school age is interested in, and I have been doing my research on the best gifts for this year. Here is a quick run-down of what I think are some of the most entertaining things that your kids or grand kids would love to get as a gift:

Baby to Toddler

Babies and toddlers absolutely LOVE stuffed animals- and even better than plain stuffed animals are ones that sing, talk, and make other noises when you press their buttons. However, my daughter has a few of these from her younger days, and they are still cuddly even though they are basically stuffed robots.

Preschooler

My daughter is now preschool-aged, and some of her favorite things are Minnie Mouse, her kid’s laptop, and her tablet. She also loves outdoor water toys and dolls that she can dress up, too.

Grade K-3

My son falls into this category, and some of his favorite things are robots, radio-controlled (RC) cars & trucks, and of course his bike! He tells me that Doc McStuffins is popular with the girls in his class.

Grade 4-6

Most of the kids in upper elementary grades are growing out of toys by this age, but I can definitely think of a few things they might enjoy, such as a Remote Helicopter/drone, an iTunes gift card, or if you’re feeling really generous an iPad mini would bring a smile to just about any kid’s face!

Hopefully I have given you a few ideas that got you into the gift-giving spirit. All of these things and way more can be found on DealDash, mostly in the Toys, Kids, & Baby section. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!

Christmas Countdown Has Begun!

I have to admit that I have bought a few things on DealDash that I would never use myself but could actually make cute Christmas gifts or stocking suffers now that the Christmas countdown has begun.

I’ve won off-the-wall items just to get that winning bid like a Retro Style Handset for your Android or iPhone and a “CashStash” capsule for your keychain.

retro handset for iPhone

One of the perks about shopping on DealDash is that you can get some really good deals and once you get your item, you can do what you please with it. I like to donate and give things away for events or parties I’m attending throughout the year.

For instance, I won big stuffed dog bed that I donated to my local humane society. When I feel like there isn’t anything I would want on DealDash, I will look for things that I could win that would be a perfect donation gift. I have won several items that my local shelter has been the gracious recipients of.

I also like to search the auctions for birthday and Christmas presents. Sure I’m looking for Christmas presents practically all year-long but I can keep those gifts in my closet until December when I decide to wrap it. Now is a good time to start shopping for your holiday gifts because the Christmas countdown has officially started with the autumn season now upon us and as of today (September 23rd) we’re only 92 days away! Here’s a cute Christmas countdown timer you and you kids can follow!

Buy a bid pack once a week and before you know it, you have a closet full of items that are perfect gifts for family and friends throughout the year. DealDash is not only fun but productive when you’re having a great family get-together!

By Gigi Pence

A little about myself: I’ve been bidding on DealDash for about two years and really like it. I like to frequent DealDash because it is fun and entertaining. I’ve gone to other sites but find myself coming back to DealDash because of the ability to get your bids back when you buy it now after losing an auction.
