BIN to WIN on DealDash

Image result for BIN dealdashBeing a great bidder on DealDash is easy, it just takes a little time, knowledge, and willingness to BIN!

When you think about bidding on DealDash, what are the most important things on the website? The products? Sure, those are great, but the real gems on DealDash are the bidders! DealDash loves all of it’s bidders, and wants to give you some tips on how to be an awesome bidder and win more auctions.

The first thing you need to do is be sure that you have enough bids to work with. To be a great bidder you need to have lots of bids in the bank so that you can be sure that you have enough to bid until you reach the BIN (Buy It Now) price. If you have enough bidding power to BIN, then you can bid confidently, and that will shine through, and people will begin to recognize your name as someone who’s willing to “go all the way” in an auction. It’s a great thing to be known as a bidder who will bid until the BIN price, because if someone recognizes your name and isn’t willing to bid until BIN price, they will usually drop out of the auction.

Another way to be an awesome bidder is to use your BidBuddy. The BidBuddy is a great auction tool that DealDash provides to all of the bidders to use for free. It just isn’t feasible to bid one-by-one if you are participating in an auction that is likely to last for hours or even days. And as we discussed before, it’s important to be willing to BIN each auction that you are in, so if you don’t win you can always pay the retail price and get all of your bids back.

Personally, I only bid on auctions that I am willing to BIN, that way I am not losing any money if I lose the auction. I love the BIN feature on DealDash, because it’s like an insurance policy for your bids.

Learning how to be the best bidder on DealDash is a challenge since there are 8 million registered users on the site.

Since  DealDash has so many registered users, there is always plenty of competition on the site More competition means it’s harder to win auctions. Luckily, the more that you learn about DealDash the more likely you are to win. Here is some helpful information that you should think about while you are browsing and bidding on DealDash.

Don’t get distracted while you are bidding on DealDash. If you try to participate in too many auctions, and you aren’t paying full attention to any of them there’s a good chance that you won’t be a winner. The only way that I personally feel safe in bidding on more than one auction at a time is by using my BidBuddy. The BidBuddy is a great auction tool that DealDash provides for everyone to use, it helps you bid consistently and helps you win. I wouldn’t ever bid without it. If you are interested in more than one auction that are running at the same time, then using the BidBuddy is a must.

Speaking of distraction, you should hone your focus on a particular product or category. If you can hone your focus on a particular product or group of products you can see who’s bidding, and you will start to recognize names and bidding patterns. If you have been paying attention, you can figure out if it makes sense to go “all in” , or bide your time and wait until a different auction. Pay attention to bidder names, bidders tend to bid in the same area frequently. If you pay attention to their patterns you might be able to snag yourself a bargain.

Don’t forget to take some time to browse around and get to know DealDash before you start bidding. Luckily, they have a “Tips and Tricks” section that you can read and study before you try your hand at bidding. Be Kind to the Newbies on DealDash

Everyone was a newbie at DealDash at one time, so let’s try and make our new arrivals feel welcome.

Once upon a time I was a newbie on DealDash, and while I felt intimidated by all of the other thousands of DealDash members that bid on auctions each day I was lucky enough to never run into anyone that made me feel unwelcome.

Quite the contrary, I actually was “given” a few auctions when I was new. I didn’t realize it at the time, but looking back I now realize that older, wiser bidders conceded a few auctions to me when I was fresh on DealDash and they could see that my sign up date was within the past few days. I wish I had caught their DealDash user names so I could thank them publically, but that was years ago and I have a terrible memory. So instead I try to “pay it forward” when I get a chance to help out a newbie that has only been bidding on DealDash for a few days. I would hate to be the person that scared off a DealDash newbie.

If you are a newbie and are reading this blog in hope of learning some DealDash tips, let me give you an important tip to take away with you – give respect to other bidders and they should give respect back to you. If you are a total newbie to DealDash one of the biggest ways to show respect to your fellow bidders is to not “jump” on other people’s bids. Jumping on someone’s bid basically means to bid immediately after someone without letting the first person’s “time clock” run down to a couple of seconds. You see, not all newbies know this, but DealDash does a wonderful thing for their bidders – for every second that someone is the highest bidder in an auction they earn “free time” that is shown at a bar on the bottom of the screen. When the bar is filled up then DealDash will give you however many free bids that you are eligible to “claim.”

When a bidder “jumps the clock” and bids right away after someone else does it usually makes the other person very annoyed, and depending on the person they may overbid on the auction just to win to spite you. Two wrongs don’t make a right, but when a bidder feels disrespected on DealDash a lot of them tend to retaliate by overbidding. It’s also possible that they might remember your user name and re-pay the bid jumping in a future auction. Just to be on the safe side I would wait until there are only 2-3 seconds left on the time clock before you throw in your bid if you are bidding manually instead of using the BidBuddy.

Did You Join DealDash Today? Here’s How It Works

Are you just getting started? Here’s how DealDash works.

1. Buy Bids

Bids are what you use to bid in the auctions to try and win.  Bids are available in a variety of different sizes of bid packs. The regular price per bid is 60 cents, and your first bid pack purchase will use this price. However, DealDash offers bid sales pretty much every day where you can purchase them from around 14-18 cents per bid. If you buy a larger bid pack, the cost per bid is usually much lower. Sometimes on holidays the prices will be even lower. You just have to be patient and see what the price is every day.

2. Browse Auctions, Do Research

All items sold on DealDash are brand new and come with manufacturer warranties. All of the items are clearly displayed, some with multiple pictures. All of the items have descriptions, and of course you can always google the item you’re interested in to get consumer reviews or more information.

3. Start Bidding

All auctions start at $0.00. Everytime you or anyone else bids it adds one penny to the final price of the item. Each bid from you or anyone else restarts the timer to 10 seconds and allows people to place bids until the timer reaches 0 or is reset again by someone bidding. You can bid one by one, or use the free tool  to help you bid called the BidBuddy. The BidBuddy is an awesome tool that everyone should take advantage of – you can program it to bid as many times as you like, and you can watch it bid against the competition or step away from the computer, or even turn it off and go to sleep!

4. Win or BIN

When the timer reaches 0 and no one else places a bid, the last bidder wins the auction and pays the final auction fee that is displayed on the bidding screen. Sometimes DealDash offers half off all auctions, or even FREE auctions. When you start bidding in an auction you never know if it’s going to be over in a matter of minutes or even days! However, if it’s an item that’s important to you, you probably want to think about going “all the way” and be willing to BIN (Buy It Now) if you don’t win. That way, when you BIN the item for the retail price you get ALL of the bids back that you placed, as well as getting free shipping. Sounds great, right? Well get bidding!

I hope this article made you want to check out DealDash’s auctions and start bidding. If you’re interested in reading even more tips and tricks please check out the “Tactics & Tips” section on DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!
