Tweet DealDash and Get Free Bids

Did you know that you can get FREE bids from posting your wins on Twitter? Here’s how you can get in on the fun!

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past ten years or so, I’m sure that you have heard of Twitter. However, you might not know anything about Twitter’s history. Twitter is an online social networking service that lets users share short 140-character messages called “tweets”.  Users can send and read tweets from just about anyone, from their next door neighbor all the way up to President Obama. Users may subscribe to other users’ tweets—this is known as “following” and subscribers are known as “followers”. DealDash has a whopping 10.4 thousand followers! If you love looking at the “Winners” tab on DealDash, looking at the tweets that people post on DealDash’s Twitter page is even more fun.

You can get totally free bids really easily and quickly using Twitter. The way you can do that is by simply following DealDash and posting photos on Twitter. If you are going to take photos of your wins to post on Facebook and Pinterest to get free bids, why not also post them on Twitter?

First things first, you need to follow DealDash on Twitter at this link here. Then go to DealDash, win an auction, and wait to receive it. After that you can get free bids by simply taking a photo of yourself holding the auction win and posting the picture on Twitter with a quick message such as “I got this – ____________ item – @DealDash for – ___________ bids- & $ – ___________ final auction price-. I love it! #DealDash also gives #FREE shipping!” Just “fill in the blanks” with the appropriate answers, and you are all set!

When you take advantage of the generous free bid offers that DealDash gives everyone every single week you can build your bid bank and win even more auctions. Then, of course, use your bid bank to get more wins, and then repeat the process. There is no limit to how many weeks in a row that you can post on Twitter and get totally free bids. As long as you have a new auction win every week then you can get more free bids every week.

Cameras For Summer Adventures

Summer is coming, is it time for a new camera? Let’s see what DealDash has on offer.

DealDash has so many different types of cameras up for auction at any given time, from inexpensive kid’s cameras all the way up to high grade digital cameras good enough to fancy yourself a professional photographer when you use them. DealDash also has cameras meant for active lifestyles, and cameras meant to be enjoyed by the whole family. Here are a few of my favorites that DealDash often has up for bid:

Best for Kids: Fuji Instax 8 – I actually have one of these for myself! The Instax is one of my favorite things to take to parties, over to the relatives house, or to keep handy when we go out in the summer. It’s just like an old school Polaroid in that it spits out instant pictures, except it’s got a fun new body design, multiple levels of flash for different types of light, and comes in fun colors.

Fuji Instax Mini 8 Camera - Black

Best for Families: Coleman 2V9WP Duo2 Dual Screen – I picked this one as best for families because it’s a very affordable price, it comes in fun colors, it’s waterproof, it has dual screens, and 20 MP resolution. This is a cute but rugged camera you don’t have to be afraid to hand it over to your 6 year old to take a picture.

Coleman Duo2 Dual-Screen Waterproof Digital Camera (Purple)

Best for Active Lifestyles: GoPro Hero – GoPro Hero has become the gold standard in practically indestructible sports cameras. The GoPro Hero camera mounts easily to your body, gear or vehicle, making it easy to record video with up to 1080p resolution during your favorite activities. Dropped from a high distance? No problem! Want to film surfing selfies? No problem! GoPro!

GoPro Hero3+ Silver Edition Camera

Best for Serious Hobbyists: Nikon D3200 – This Nikon is actually my dream camera! I have never had the nerve to bid on one on DealDash because I haven’t worked up the nerve to be willing to “Go all the way”.  Maybe someday. This is an awesome camera that also shoots videos in 1080p. Perfect for making YouTube videos. You can actually even edit your pictures right within the cameras interface and share them wirelessly. And as an extra awesome bonus, it also comes in red!!!

  1. When was DealDash founded? DealDash was founded in February of 2009 by William Wolfram. Seven years later, the company has 8 million US registered shoppers.
  2. What does BIN stand for? Buy It Now. If you do not win an auction, you can get your bids back, by using the unique DealDash Buy It Now option. If you bid 100 times on a $50 Walmart Gift Card and don’t win, you can just buy the item for $50 and get all your bids back for free. You can now re-use your bids to try to win another auction!
  3. How much does DealDash charge for shipping? Nothing! DealDash offers free shipping on absolutely 100% of everything both won and BINned on the site. There is even free shipping on extremely heavy items such as furniture.
  4. How many items per week can you win? You may win up to 9 auctions per week. You can follow how many wins that you have accumulated by logging in and looking at the winning limit slots right next to the bid amount. The system will not allow you to bid after you have reached your limit. All remaining BidBuddies will be automatically cancelled.
  5. There are two DealDash offices. Where are they located? The two DealDash offices are located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Helsinki, Finland.
  6. What bidding tool does DealDash offer to everyone free of charge? DealDash offers a great bidding tool called the BidBuddy to every single bidder, free of charge. The BidBuddy strategically places bids for you. It waits until the last second to bid. You can put a limit on how many bids will be used, and you can cancel or cancel and re-start it at any point in the auction.
  7. Does DealDash ever give away free bids? Yes!! Anyone who has won an auction for a tangible item (no bid packs or gift cards) can post a photo of themselves with the item and post it on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest to earn bids. There is an article that I wrote detailing exactly how to accomplish this at this link here.
  8. How long do you have to pay for your auction after winning? You have exactly 14 days to pay for your winning auction. You can find your winning auctions on your DealDash dashboard.
  9. What hours is DealDash open for bidding? DealDash is open 24 hours, 7 days per week! Unlike a lot of other bidding sites, DealDash never closes, not even on holidays.
  10. Is DealDash legit? DealDash is 100% legit. Here is an article that I wrote detailing DealDash’s Better Business Bureau and SiteJabber scores at this link here.

DealDash is Trustworthy, and Here’s Proof

Did you know that DealDash is a Better Business Bureau accredited business?

Not only that, even more impressively DealDash is actually rated an A+ on the Better Business Bureau. There are a few different ways that the Better Business Bureau uses to rate businesses. Some of these ways include:

  • Length of time business has been operating
  • Complaint volume filed with BBB for business of this size
  • Response to any complaint(s) filed against business
  • Resolution of complaint(s) filed against business

According to the Better Business Bureau website, they have a total of 156 reviews on BBB, and 145 of them are positive, and 5 of them are neutral. Those are some really great percentages of happy customers.

It’s just about impossible to be a large company without having any complaints at all, and DealDash has had just 22 complaints in the last year. That’s an amazingly low number of complaints if you take into consideration that DealDash does literally hundreds of transactions per day, and thousands upon thousands of members.

If the Better Business Bureau A+ rating doesn’t impress you – how about a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on SiteJabber? What is SiteJabber you might ask? SiteJabber is a web site for customers to find trustworthy online businesses and avoid scams. SiteJabber was founded in 2008 in San Francisco, California and has been described as “the Yelp for websites and online businesses”. Customers create SiteJabber accounts to rate and review online businesses using an overall star-rating as well as criteria such as service, value, shipping, returns and quality. SiteJabber receives over 1 million monthly visitors and have reviews of over 45,000 online businesses, so you know they’re legit.

If you go to SiteJabber and look up DealDash, they have 2,972 reviews and over 2,400 of the reviews are either 4 or 5 star ratings. Again, it’s so amazing considering how many people use DealDash every day.

I hope that this reassures those of you who might have been a little bit skeptical about exactly how legit DealDash really is. If you’re interested in reading even more tips and tricks check out the “Tactics & Tips” section on DealDash. Good luck and happy bidding everyone!
