Thinking Like a Seasoned DealDash Bidder

DealDashIf you want to win more DealDash auctions you should start thinking like a seasoned bidder

Even if you’re a newbie that just joined DealDash today, you should start thinking like a seasoned bidder. There are some mistakes that most newbies make on DealDash that you can avoid by trying out this strategy. Read on for more information about thinking like a seasoned bidder on DealDash.

Figure Out How Dealdash Works

DealDash, while fairly self-explanatory to get started on, has many different features that you will want to learn how to use before you start bidding in earnest. For starters, DealDash runs on a “pay to bid” model. So if you want to participate in a DealDash auction, you will need to buy bids first. These bids come in packs of different amounts. DealDash is currently selling packs of 60, 300, 600, 1200, and 2400.

Don’t Bid on Just Anything

Now that you have a better understanding of how DealDash works and You’ve bought some bids, it’s time to browse. Seasoned bidders don’t bid on just anything that’s on the main auction screen. They take their time, do their research, and look through all of the upcoming auctions in their favorite categories.

Buy Bids on Sale

Another thing that seasoned bidders on DealDash know is not to buy bids when they are above .15! DealDash bids can range anywhere in price from .12 each all the way up to .60 each. However, they are frequently on sale for .13, .14, and .15. Why in the world would you buy a 2400 pack of bids at .18 each when you can get them for .13 a piece? That is literally a savings of $120!!! Wouldn’t you rather wait a few days and get such a great deal? That’s how a seasoned bidder thinks, and so should you!

BidBuddy is the Way to Bid

Seasoned bidders on DealDash know that the best way to bid is by using the BidBuddy. When I first started on DealDash I didn’t understand how the BidBuddy worked and I lost quite a few auctions by clicking too slowly while I was bidding.

The BidBuddy is available on every auction, and it doesn’t cost anything to use.  If you’d like to use the BidBuddy just open up a DealDash auction that you’re interested in winning. On the screen, you will see a space and a button that says “Book a Bid Buddy”. Click on the space that says “add bids here” and put in the number of bids that you are willing to spend on this particular DealDash auction. Then hit enter to get him started.

Seasoned bidders use the BidBuddy because they know that their internet could fail at any moment, the power could go out, the computer could start updating itself without warning, or any other number of reasons.

Reasons to BIN When You Don’t WIN

DealDash

If you’re not Buying It Now (BIN) when you don’t win, you’re missing out.

Have you been using the BIN feature on DealDash? You should, because Buying It Now is almost as good as winning the auction. I will explain more down below. However, know that doing a BIN on an auction that you don’t win will take the “sting” out of losing. To find out more about Buying It Now, read on down below.

BIN? What’s That Mean?

BIN is one of the best ideas that DealDash has ever come up with. There is no restriction on who can Buy It Now, other than the fact that you have to have placed at least one bid on that auction. Thus, it’s offered to every bidder in every auction, not just to the first few as I have seen on some other bidding sites. With BIN, you can purchase the item at the retail price that is listed on each and every auction page. Then, DealDash will return all of the bids that you spent on the auction to your bid bank.

Should I Always BIN?

If you’re wondering if you should BIN an auction or not, then you probably should! However, you don’t want to just guess if it makes good financial sense. You just need to do a little math to see how many bids that need to be placed before you reach the retail price.

This is easy to calculate, especially if DealDash is running a Free Auction Weekend promotion. Simply take the retail price of the item and divide it by the amount that you spent on each bid. The answer that you get is the amount of bids that you would need to spend to break even on the auction. For example, if you are bidding on a $100 item and you paid .15 per bid, your break even point would be 667 bids.

If it is not a day when DealDash is running a Free Auction promotion, then you need to estimate how much the auction will end at, and do your calculations from that. For example, if you do a little research and see that the sale $100 item typically ends for a final auction price of 10, then you need to take off that $10 before you do your calculations, so your break even price in this situation would be 600 bids.

If you end up spending the number of bids that you have previously calculated and you still haven’t won the auction, that’s when you know it’s time to BIN the auction. Don’t worry, though, because you will get every single bid that you spent returned to your account when you BIN the item. You will also get free shipping, Free shipping is something that DealDash offers on every item.

What is DealDash, Exactly?

DealDash is a shopping entertainment website that runs on a “pay to bid” model. Basically, this means that to participate in a DealDash auction, you need to buy bids first. You can buy bids in different amounts. It’s easy and fun to win great prizes and get awesome deals on DealDash, so why not get started now?

Buying Your Bid Pack

DealDash has bid packs with different amounts of bids to choose from. You can pay for your first bid pack in a few different ways, using a debit card, credit card or even with your Paypal account. When you buy bids they are credited immediately, and you can jump on in the action. Bids are the currency that is used in the auctions on DealDash, so you don’t want to be caught without any bids to spend and some exciting auctions coming up on the roster.

Get to Know BidBuddy, ASAP

The BidBuddy is available to every bidder, free of charge. You don’t need to download anything extra or purchase anything special to use the BidBuddy. You can use it in every single DealDash auction. To use the BidBuddy just open up any DealDash auction that you’re interested in bidding on. In the middle of the screen, you will see a space and a button that says “Book a Bid Buddy”. Click on the space that says “add bids here” and put in the number of bids that you are willing to spend on this particular DealDash auction. Then hit enter.

You can put in any number of bids from one to as many bids as you have in your bid bank. Also important to note, you can also cancel a Bid Buddy at any time and all the bids will go instantly back into your account. The BidBuddy is the best way to win auctions on DealDash.

Will You Win or Will You BIN?

When an auction ends the last person to bid is the winner of the auction. If you aren’t the winner of the auction and you have placed at least one bid you are eligible to do a “Buy It Now” or “BIN” on the auction. When you BIN the item for the retail price you get ALL of the bids back that you placed, as well as getting free shipping. When you don’t win an auction, BINning is the next best option.

Are You the Latest New DealDash Bidder?

DealDashWelcome to you, the newest DealDash bidder! Here are some tips, tricks, and hints to get you started on your way to winning.

How Does DealDash Bidding Work?

What is DealDash? DealDash is what’s known as a “Pay to bid” site. As in, you buy the bids beforehand, and use these to bid on the auctions. There are other pay to bid sites out there, but DealDash is one of the oldest and most respected sites out there. DealDash has been around for a little over eight years now, and bidders have won millions of dollars in prizes. DealDash runs auctions twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, even on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Here’s how to get started on your new favorite website:

You’ll need to buy a bid pack to get started. When you buy your first bid pack, the bids will cost .60 each. After you have completed your first bid pack purchase, you’ll see the sale prices. DealDash offers a new sale on bids each day. Some days the bids cost .14, other days they cost .13 or .15 each. You’ll never know how much they cost until you log into your account. It’s a surprise each day.

After you purchase your bids you can explore the site and bid on anything that you would like to. There are tons of auctions on the front page, and you can click on each to open it up and read more. You can also bid from the main page. It’s your choice, do whatever makes you comfortable.

What’s the BidBuddy?

The BidBuddy is something that you will see when you open up an individual auction page. The BidBuddy is DealDash’s bidding aid. The BidBuddy is available on each auction and can be found to the right of the picture of the item. Just click in the empty box on the BidBuddy and then add in your choice of bids. You can add anywhere between 1 and however many bids you have in your bid bank. Next, hit “Book a BidBuddy” and you’ll see your BidBuddy begin to bid for you in the auction.

Hello New DealDash Bidders!

DealDash

If you’re a new bidder on DealDash there are a few things you need to know. Read on for some tips on DealDash basics.

Greetings, new bidder on DealDash! You are in for a very exciting experience. DealDash is a fun and exciting website where you just might take home a big win. It’s not a good idea to just start bidding without reading up on how to use the site, though. Read this article for some DealDash information that you need to know.

Making an Account

The first thing that you need to do is open a DealDash bidding account. If you don’t have an account you can still look around, but you won’t be able to try out the site. It’s simple to open up an account, it just takes a minute. All you need to sign up is your name, email, and a user name chosen by you. Think about it carefully, because you can’t change it afterward.

Buying Bids

When you have completed your sign up, you need to buy your first bid pack. Your first bid pack of 60 bids is $36. You can use these bids to see if you enjoy DealDash. However, if for some reason you don’t like bidding on DealDash this amount will be fully refunded to you if you contact customer service. There is a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and if you decide that DealDash isn’t for you then just contact customer service under the “Help” section on the main DealDash page and they will assist you in canceling your account and having the cost of your first bid pack refunded to you.

After you have purchased your first bid pack, then you are eligible for bid discounts! There is a different discount listed every day, which you can see on the main DealDash page. Bid packs come in many different amounts of bids. You can get a pack of 60, 300, 600, 1200, or 2400. Bids cost between .13-.60 per bid. The most common price for bids is around $.15-.17. Sometimes they dip down to the .12-.14 range, typically on holiday weekends. Just keep your eyes peeled, and check the main DealDash page often.

Bidding Explained to Newbies

There are two main ways that you can bid on DealDash – single bids or by using the BidBuddy. Placing a single bid is extremely simple. You can place single bids on the front page, or by opening up an individual auction and clicking the “bid” button.

Using the BidBuddy is a much better option for most situations. The BidBuddy is on all auctions and is available to all bidders to use. Your BidBuddy will alternate bidding with the other BidBuddies that are set until there are no more bids placed from BidBuddies or other bidders, and whoever has the last bid in before the clock runs out is the winner. To use the BidBuddy simply open up an individual item’s auction page, and put in as many or as few bids as you like. You can cancel it or add more bids at any time.
